Rush University accepts undergraduate applications on a rolling basis for either Fall or Spring semester based on the program which commences in September and January respectively. The admission applications are accepted two months prior to the beginning of the program. International student admission to Rush University is subject to fulfillment of requirements of minimum GPA, submission of transcripts, English proficiency requirements and submission of all documents with the application within a specific time period. The College of Nursing of the University does not accept applications from international students.

Visa process for international students must be initiated after they receive the admission letter. Students holding an F-1 visa to study in the USA are allowed to enter the U.S. not prior to 30 days from the date of commencement of their program. Rush University offers only 3 undergraduate programs through the College of Health Sciences. The prerequisite for students applying to undergraduate programs is to complete 60 credit hours in subjects that include algebra, English composition, humanities, physical, life and social sciences. Admission decisions for programs are affected by various factors and are highly competitive. Applicants are expected to demonstrate an overall GPA of 2.75 on 4.0, completed coursework, and strong interpersonal skills.

Many courses of the Rush University are offered through online mode. It is recommended that students submit applications 2 months prior to the commencement of the program. All applications are assessed and a final decision regarding admission is conveyed to the applicant. The admission letter will confirm a student’s admission. This also means that further steps for acquiring I-20 and applying for the student visa must be initiated. After students arrive at Rush University they will have to attend a new student’s orientation program.
