Capital University (CU) critically assesses the received applications based on the academic record of high school, GPA attained and the coursework completed. Once the application process is over, applicants must ensure that their gidance counselor mail one copy of the offcial academic transcript to Capital University.
CU allows the students to opt for unique courses offered in disciplines like Law, Nursing and Business both at undergraduate and graduate level.
Based on your application type, please take care of the following things:
Applicants are recommended to provide a list of the activities they participated in during high school or college to support their candidature in lieu of essay or recommendation letter.

The application for undergraduate courses will be starting in October for the Fall season. Please note that for graduate courses, the applications are accepted on a rolling basis, the dates given below are only the recommended deadlines.

Application Portal: Applicants are required to visit the international admissions page to submit an online application. Alternatively, you may use the ‘Common App’ to submit an online application.
Application Fee: Not required for online applications.
Academic Requirements: For international applicants, submission of ACT or SAT scores is not mandatory. However, the chances of getting a scholarship increase if students supplement their applications with these standardized test scores.
Supporting Documents: Academic transcript, degree certificate, diploma certificate (if applicable), passport copy.
International applicants need to visit the respective course pages to know about the specific admission requirements.
It is essential to submit the following documents in case if you are making an application for a graduate program or Adult and Continuing Education Program or the Nursing Accelerated Program:
International applicants who are not native English speakers need to demonstrate proficiency in English by fulfilling any one of the following requirement:
Internet-based TOEFL: 61 (UG); 100 (Graduate)
IELTS: 6.0 (UG); 7.0 (Graduate)
Application Portal: CU accepts online application either through the ‘Common App’ or its online admission portal.
Application Fee: Not required for online applications.
Academic Requirements: All 1st-year applicants, graduating from a US-based high school, should submit academic transcripts and ACT/SAT scores. The ACT and SAT requirements for CU are:

Additionally, students must have completed the following preparatory courses:
Supporting Documents: A completed Counsellor information form and a list of activities performed during high school. Please note that CU does not require the applicants to submit an admission essay or letter of recommendation for UG courses.
Students applying for music/nursing courses and home-schooled students need to fulfill additional requirements.
Application Portal: Online applications can be completed at the CU’s admissions application page. Alternatively, applicants may submit paper applications.
Application Fee: Students are exempted from paying the application fee if they are applying online. Paper applications require the students to pay 25 USD.
Academic Requirements: A few of the academic programs may require the applicants to submit scores of standardized tests like GRE/GMAT/LSAT in addition to the GPA and prerequisite coursework.

Supporting Documents: Resume and three reference letters are required for all the graduate programs, however, a few courses have certain additional requirements:
Applying at the Capital University can be a very good option for you as there is no application fee if you apply online before March 1. If you have a good academic record, high GPA and standardized test scores above the minimum requirements then chances are high that you will get into the University and will be considered for a scholarship too.
CU takes a minimum of 2–3 weeks to process the application and inform the applicants about the admission decision. Applicants are recommended to submit the supporting documents early to receive the decision fast.
