Delaware State University (DSU) admission process is highly selective with an acceptance rate of around 49% as per the Fall 2018 intake. Half of the applicants admitted have a composite SAT score of 840-1010 or an ACT score of 17- 22. At present the total enrollment is 5,054 among which 4% is international.

DSU provides job-oriented degree programs through 17 academic departments that offers undergraduate courses in 44 majors, Graduate in 18 areas, and doctoral program in 5specializations. Some of the most popular majors are- Kinesiology, Mass Communications, Criminal Justice, Management, and Psychology.

  • DSU accepts admission application for Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions.
  • International students must not delay the admission process 3 months prior to beginning of the class.

International Admissions at Delaware State University

The international students willing to study in the US and planning to study at Delaware State University must fulfill additional admission requirements based on which the decision regarding their admission will be made. Visa Requirements for International Students

The International students planning to study at the university must apply for a student visa to study in the USA once the application letter has been issued to them. International candidates should submit an I-20 application. They need to submit the following materials-

Both Incoming freshmen and transfer students may apply for the DSU Honors Program simultaneously when they apply for admission to the University.
