I decided to study at Elmira College as it offered me a very good curriculum along with an end number of facilities. Some of the facilities provided at the college include are laboratories for research, instrumentation, and teaching. Of particular utility to biochemistry, we are provided with the instruments for amplifying and manipulating DNA, a DNA sequencer, gel electrophoresis apparatuses, etc that can analyze various types of information. I applied to the college with the help of an application form.
My curriculum is designed to prepare me in the field of knowledge of both chemistry and biology. It helps me to integrate the principles from these disciplines into unified concepts. This curriculum provides me a basic preparation to enter the biochemical industry also. After completing the course I will be eligible to pursue professional work in fields such as medicine, dentistry, or medical technology.
