Gannon University is quite selective with an acceptance rate of 80%. For the Fall season of 2018, a total of 5,124 students applied for Gannon University Admissions. Out of these many applications, about 81% of applicants were offered admission.
While reviewing the applications, the Admissions Committee of Gannon University majorly considers the overall GPA, the strength of academic curriculum, class rank, courses completed and standardized test scores.
Applications can be further strengthened by submitting an admissions essay. It would help the Admissions Committee to evaluate the candidature of an applicant based on their personal attributes other than the academic record.

The admission requirements for international undergraduate and graduate programs are discussed in the subsequent sections:
Application Portal: You need to create an account and submit an online application through Gannon’s online application portal.
Application Fee: Online applications can be submitted free of cost, however, paper applications costs 25 USD.
Academic Requirements: International applicants need not submit ACT/SAT scores. However, applicants must send official academic transcripts received from institutions attended in original and English-translated form.
Furthermore, applicants must hold a good academic record with an average GPA of 3.0.
Supporting Documents: Statement of purpose and one letter of recommendation.
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements to be considered as a transfer student:

Academic Requirements: All applicants must request the respective testing agency to send the scores of standardized tests. Some of the common tests that are required for a majority of the programs include GRE, GMAT, or MAT.
Supporting Documents: Official copies of academic transcripts, three letters of recommendation obtained from individuals who are well aware of the academic and professional accomplishments of the applicant.
It is a mandate for non native English speakers to demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting scores of any of the following assessments.

In addition to submitting English proficiency scores, international applicants must complete an affidavit of support form, which will be employed to verify the availability of financial resources and issue I-20 form.
Applicants may produce financial proof in the form of a bank statement, bank letter in English or letters from employers, all in original form.

After completing the admissions process, the applicants are required to wait for a minimum 2-3 weeks for the admission decision to arrive. Meanwhile, the applicants may check for the status of their application by logging into the application portal they used for submitting the application.
Applicants are recommended to take the standardized tests at least 6 months before the course start date so that you get sufficient time to keep the admission prerequisites ready before making an application.
