Gannon University is quite selective with an acceptance rate of 80%. For the Fall season of 2018, a total of 5,124 students applied for Gannon University Admissions. Out of these many applications, about 81% of applicants were offered admission.

Gannon University Application Deadlines

  • Gannon accepts applications on a rolling basis both for graduate and undergraduate programs and hence there are no fixed deadlines.

Application Portal: You need to create an account and submit an online application through Gannon’s online application portal.

Application Fee: Online applications can be submitted free of cost, however, paper applications costs 25 USD.

Academic Requirements: International applicants need not submit ACT/SAT scores. However, applicants must send official academic transcripts received from institutions attended in original and English-translated form.

Furthermore, applicants must hold a good academic record with an average GPA of 3.0.

Supporting Documents: Statement of purpose and one letter of recommendation.

Gannon University International Transfer Admissions

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements to be considered as a transfer student:

  • Submit official transcripts obtained from all the colleges/universities attended if you have completed more than 30 credit hours
  • Similarly, applicants with less than 30 credit hours should also submit official transcripts.
  • English-translated syllabi
  • Fill and submit Transfer Applicant Evaluation Form if you are an International applicant getting transferred from a US institution

Academic Requirements: All applicants must request the respective testing agency to send the scores of standardized tests. Some of the common tests that are required for a majority of the programs include GRE, GMAT, or MAT.

Supporting Documents: Official copies of academic transcripts, three letters of recommendation obtained from individuals who are well aware of the academic and professional accomplishments of the applicant.

In addition to submitting English proficiency scores, international applicants must complete an affidavit of support form, which will be employed to verify the availability of financial resources and issue I-20 form.

Applicants may produce financial proof in the form of a bank statement, bank letter in English or letters from employers, all in original form.

Application Fee: Not required for online applications. Applicants submitting paper application need to pay 25 USD.

Academic Requirements: Submission of high school transcript or GED certificate. Applicants are required to have attained an overall GPA of 3.0 or better during their high school and must have completed prerequisite 16 academic units. Additionally, they must fulfill minimum SAT/ACT requirements:

  • SAT score: 1090 or higher
  • ACT score: 21 or higher

Application Portal: Students may either visit the respective program page and apply or may apply online using Gannon’s online application portal.
