Adelphi University academic session begins in fall, summer and spring season. The university has an enrolment of 5391 students and 2755 students in various different undergraduate and graduate programs respectively for the academic session, Fall 2018. The international applicants need to submit the required materials as soon as possible, those students applying for Early Action will be considered for scholarships and need-based financial assistance as well.

Adelphi University has International students from over 58 countries. The international students can enrol directly for degree program, with proper academic and English-language qualifications and other supporting documents.

Undergraduate applicants are required to submit official secondary school/university records directly to Adelphi University.
The international graduate students are also required to submit official college or university records to the Adelphi Office.

Language requirements – TOEFL or IELTS.
The requirements for English proficiency varies for graduate program. The applicant has to check the requirements before applying.
Submit a supporting bank letter/ Certification of Finances, a copy of Passport or national ID to obtain Form I-20 from the University.
The university offers undergraduate courses in the field of Studio Art, Communication, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Mathematics, Biochemistry and Graphic design. To apply for the UG programs, the applicant has to fulfil the following requirements -

Admission to Adelphi University is moderately selective. In Fall 2018 admissions, the university received 13006 applications out of which 9648 were selected making an acceptance rate of 74.1%. The University conducts a holistic evaluation of all documents submitted for review. Personal essays, Letters of recommendations and Statement of purpose play an important role in securing admission. Applicants can also schedule Interview with the application reviewing committee to increase the chances of getting admission.
The applicant will usually receive the admission decision three weeks after the university receives the complete application.
