A strong and rigorous STEM program, good reputation, positive outcomes of alumni and good reviews from current students, rated one of the happiest colleges in the US

    Course Curriculum :

The CS curriculum is very updated and rigorous with a few exceptions. There are a lot of opportunities for research experience and industrial exposure.

The dept had a decent number of faculty members in the field of my research which would allow me to interact with them right in the hallways and the general vibe of the university seemed very welcoming as they have huge number of international students.

    Course Curriculum :

It is flexible and many different kinds of specialized courses are offered. The core courses can be done better. I think there is definitely a fair chance of improvement in the academic curriculum but the dept. always strives to improve on it.

My work experience and project work motivated me to apply for masters in business analytics to take my career to next level. I am currently on the lookout for opportunities to enhance my knowledge and skillset either through a job or masters.

    Course Curriculum :

I would prefer a curriculum that is updated and suits the latest real time requirements.

Rice university has a really good material science department. And it’s very close to Texas Medical Centre. Since I work in biomaterials, the collaborations with TMC colleges makes a huge difference

    Course Curriculum :

Since I applied directly for PhD without masters I had to take 6 course: 4 core courses and 2 electives. You can choose any course from any department as your elective. Also you have the opportunity to audit anu class you want

My sister pursued her bachelor's degree from Rice University and having heard so much about its academics, infrastructure, and many other things, I wanted to study here as well. My high school grades were pretty good, so I filled out a common application form and paid an application fee of $75.

    Course Curriculum :

A lot of topics like Structural engineering, highway engineering, Fluid mechanics, Soil Mechanics, Transportation, Engineering materials, Environmental engineering, Concrete Technology, Construction Management, etc were covered.

After completing my high school, I was searching for affordable colleges providing BA in computer science as one of its courses. I was attracted by the rankings and infrastructure of this university. I applied via the common app by paying an application fee of $75.

    Course Curriculum :

My course provided me knowledge about algorithms and their use. We analyzed new problems, chose appropriate algorithms for their solutions, etc. It also demonstrated the ability to design and implement complex software systems.

After completing my graduation in architecture I wanted to continue with my studies in the USA. I contacted a consultancy that helped me get through the admission process. I applied to various universities but got selected at Rice University. I was required to submit an application fee of $85 along with my CV, Digital Portfolio, and personal statements. The application was quite easy for me as I was only required to apply through the Online Application Form which was simple and less time consuming as compared to the complex admission process of the other universities. I also had to submit a short statement about -Today-s Architecture- as a part of the admission process.

    Course Curriculum :

Being an Architecture student I was exposed to the full breadth of the program through the detailed curriculum of the university. The core curriculum helped me to gain in-depth knowledge of History, Technology, and Design. Every aspect of the curriculum helped me to grow as a leader in industry practice. Towards the end of the program, I got an opportunity to practice in an advanced totalization studio wherein, I got an opportunity to learn the intrinsic relationship of design to other fields. I was given full exposure to the design industry through the professional master classes conducted at the university. We were given the chance to interact with experts from the industry as a part of the core curriculum.

Rice offered me full financial aid that covered all expenses and tuition. Also, the residential college system is what really makes for a welcoming, family-like social scene.

    Course Curriculum :

The courses that are offered are all really interesting and well-done. However, there is simply a lack of variety and options every semester due to the fact that the school is quite small and has limited faculty members.
