Eligibility & Entry Requirement
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, a degree in Computer Science, or a degree in Quantitative Science, with a grade point average of at least 3.0/4.0 on the last 60 hours of the undergraduate degree and on any coursework completed since graduation.
Computer and systems engineering graduate students at the University of Houston have the opportunity to work with and learn from faculty recognized as world leaders in their fields. Computer engineers design and maintain hardware and software in computer-based systems, from PCs to supercomputers, as well as computer systems that are embedded in vehicles, appliances, and communications networks.
