The University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) invites applications for Fall or Spring sessions. The university enrols more than 16,000 students each year. Currently, the university offers many undergraduate courses and more than 50 graduate degrees at the master’s, educational specialist and doctoral levels, plus a number of graduate certificates. Field of study available at the university are Accounting, Anthropology, Astronomy, Bioethics, Bioinformation, Art history and Architectural Studies.
In fall 2018-19 admissions, the university received 6378 applications out of which 3602 applicants were offered admission making an acceptance rate of 56.4%.

The admission process for international applicants is the same as that for US applicants. However, international applicants have to meet additional requirements. Also, they have to carefully review their visa process.
Admission Requirements - Academic records/transcripts, English Proficiency Test Scores, Personal statement, Test scores (ACT/SAT/GMAT/GRE)
In the personal statement, the applicants need to describe their educational goals and why they want to study in UMKC.
Supporting Documents - Passport, Statement of Finance, Affidavit of Support, Letter of recommendation (mandatory) Resume, Letter of Intent or Statement of Purpose
Departmental requirements: In addition to the general admission requirements, some departments require a separate departmental application, portfolio, audition or interview.
International applicants can submit the TOEFL and/or IELTS scores to demonstrate English proficiency. The minimum required scores by the university are given below. However, applicants must note that several departments may different score requirements.
