University of Rhode Island is a public, land grant and sea grant university located in Rhode Island. It was established in 1892 and has 4 campuses, out of which the South Kingstown campus is known to be the main campus.
Programs, Campus and Residence
- More than 87 undergraduate and 83 major degree programs under 10 schools are running in the university currently. Some of the popular majors are – Psychology, Nursing, Speech Communication, Kinesiology, Human Development and Family Studies.

Merit scholarships awarded to international students who have an outstanding performance in academics. Those students who had applied for entry into 2017-18 academic year, got scholarships ranging from 8,500 USD to 13,500 USD. These scholarships do not cover housing, boarding, etc. fee waivers. It has an acceptance rate of 74%.
