English Proficiency Test Score for International Students

All the students whose native language is not English are required to submit the scores of one of the following English language tests- IELTS or TOEFL. These tests must be taken within 18 months of the application. The university does not have any minimum English proficiency requirements.

Visa Process for International Students-

  • All the International students have to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa to be able to study at the St Andrews University
  • For this, the applicant has to obtain Form I-20 from the university. Applicants will need to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:
    • Copy of passport
    • International Student Enrollment Deposit of $1,000 USD.
    • Immigration and Financial Responsibility Form
  • After obtaining the Form I-20 from the university, the applicant needs to complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
