University of Arkansas - Little Rock International Admissions

Office of International Student Services (OISS) oversees the University of Arkansas admissions of international students. It provides support and assistance to prospective international undergraduate applicants, current international students and scholars. It helps international students by advising them regarding immigration, social, cultural, and academic issues during their stay.

International admission requirements:

  • High school and post-secondary school transcripts.
  • If the transcripts are in a language other than English, they must be accompanied by an English translation along with the original language.
  • Foreign college or university transcripts, if applicable.
  • Minimum cumulative high school GPA: 2.5 out of 4.0.
  • Minimum cumulative university transfer credit GPA: 2.0 out of 4.0.
  • Applicants of foreign colleges or universities have to submit an official course-by-course transcript evaluation. This will show the university the US equivalent of the applicant’s GPA, and courses that may transfer. It is advised that the applicants begin this process early in the admission process so that the university has enough time to evaluate the original, official documents.
  • Immigration verification form with a demonstration of financial support.
  • Students have to submit immunization records during a Health Screening after their arrival.

University of Arkansas - Little Rock Undergraduate Admissions

The Office of Admissions manages the University of Arkansas admissions. Applicants should seek direct assistance from the office if needed.

Required documents for freshmen admission:

UA, Little Rock Graduate School is the body responsible for the graduate admissions in the university.
