Tuition costs & proximity. The tuition for in-state students is relatively at a low price. It was a no brainer to opt for an option that was less expensive than the competing schools. All while being just as established academically. The proximity to my hometown is relatively close as I enjoy going home every now and again.
Prerequisites for the nursing application are tedious and not always the most enjoyable, but once in the nursing program courses are energetic and hands-on!
I decided to go to MSU because it was just far enough away from home to feel like I'm moving on with my life while still being near my parents. I got in-state tuition plus a scholarship, and it has a top-rated film program.
I think that the school has been focusing a lot more money on engineering classes than they did in the past. This is making other college programs weaker. The classes in film school are excellent.
