This school was overall, a really good environment. I felt like the professors really cared about their students, I felt like the college president genuinely cared about implementing change for the students, and I felt like it was a really inclusive environment.
The school is really flexible. If I wanted to change majors they find ways to use the classes I've already taken and incorporate it as new credit. The programs do really well to ensure that they're preparing you for a career in that field.
Location, acceptance, and programs available. Reputation is known as one of the better SUNY schools closer to the city. I know someone a year above me who encouraged me to apply. Financial Aid also allowed me to attend with minimal loans.
The course curriculum is standard with General Education requirements as per SUNY requirements. These allow you to see a number of majors and have a basic level of general knowledge regardless of the major path you take.
