Pittsburg State University International Admissions

Pittsburg State University boasts more than 400 international students from 43 countries, and the graduation rate for international students is nearly 100 percent. The admission process of these students is the same as domestic candidates. However, they have to meet a few additional requirements.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • All the academic records/transcripts from the previously attended institution(s).
    • Certified by the institution's office registrar.
    • Sent directly from the issuing institute a stamped and sealed envelope.
    • Official transcripts that are not in English must be accompanied along with the certified English translation.

For evaluation, international applicants should send their transcripts to ‘World Education Service (WES)’ and ‘Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc (ECE)’

  • International applicants will be issued Form I-20 from the university by paying $45
  • Applicants will need to provide the following documents to receive the Form I-20:

  • Applicants then need to apply for the F-1 or J-1 visa. Submit the form and documentation
