University of Washington is a highly competitive university and enrolls around 31,221 undergraduate students every year. The acceptance rate of 46% makes it exceptionally selective. International students from non- native english speaking countries should fulfil English proficiency requirements. Candidates with higher level of english proficiency will be considered as strong applicants. Official test scores must be sent directly from testing agency to the University of Washington.

Candidates can apply through Coalition Application
Following are the steps to apply through Coalition Application:-
1. Students are required to create Coalition Account ( Coalition Application is a free college planning and application portal wherein students can apply commonly for over 150 public and private colleges).
2. While setting up Coalition account candidates need to add University of Washington into their list of colleges.
3. Candidates need to complete the Coalition profile and submit required documents.
4. Application fee of 90 USD is applicable for international fee and fee waiver is not available for international students.
5. After the submission of test scores and transcripts, students can apply further. Letter of recommendation and interviews are not required for admissions.
Academic Requirements for International Student- Candidates are required to submit SAT and ACT scores along with English language proficiency test scores. Test scores must be sent from testing agencies directly. In case, a candidate sends both SAT and ACT scores then relatively higher scores are considered as per National Concordance tables.
Writing Portions are not required in both the tests.
Supporting Documents: Academic transcripts, certificates, passport copy, Personal information,SOP or objectives, etc. are basic requirements for each course.

Academic Requirements for International Students: English Proficiency Test Score : TOEFL and IELTS
Supporting Documents : Academic transcripts, certificates, passport copy, Personal information, SEVIS ID number,SOP or objectives, etc. are basic requirements for each course.
When to apply – There is only one intake per year, each fall January 10 – Final Deadline for international application
requirements – Degree Statements with date of graduation and title of academic degree, all coursewok with grades, Resume, LORs, Official GMAT or GRE scores, Video interview submission, proof of english language proficiency, Non-refundable fee of 85 USD.
Aeronautics and Astronautics ( Masters of Aerospace Engineering )
When to apply- Priority Deadline – April 1 and Final Deadline – August 1
Requirements - Candidate is expected to have undergraduate degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, Undergraduate degrees from other fields are also acceptable only if candiate has completed fundamental engineering and mathematics, minmum GPA – 3.0, resume , transcripts, statement of purpose, 2 LORs, English Language proficiency test scores.
Public Health – Epidemiology
When to apply – applications are accepted once in a year on autmn
ocotber 1- First day of online application
December 2- submission of application and supporting materials
Requirements – unofficial transcripts from previous colleges and universities, resume, statement of purpose, personal history statement, recommendations and official GRE scores.
Transfer students can apply for the university however, the process is not same for all. Candidate must select a major before applying as different majors may have different application process. Credits are also transfered from one university to another.

Academic Requirements for International Students: Students must submit English Language Proficiency test scores along with SAT and ACT scores.
Supporting Documents: Personal Statement, official transcripts along with Mid- term reports and College reports.
University of Washington majorly evaluates transcripts for all applicants therefore unofficial scanned copies of transcripts are required with online applications. Transcripts and other credentials are kept by the office of admission for one calender year.
- Transcripts must be sealed and signed by the issuing institution
- Transcripts sent by Parchment and Credential Solutions are considered official.
- Records must be sent in english or in native language along with english translations
- Transcripts from all colleges attended must be sent even if no credits were earned. In case its is not disclosed denial of application can be done.
Applicants are required to create NetID to check application status on MyUW ( it is a portal exclusively for applicants to check information regarding their application, decisions, important updates etc).
Candidates can make changes in some personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number and intended majors after submission of the application. Withdrawal of application and deletion of duplicate application is also possible.
