Colby College Admissions saw 74% of freshman students belonging in the top 10% of their high school class. Admit rate recorded for 2018 admissions was 16%, which indicates the fact that admissions have been highly selective. The admitted students had average SAT scores close to 700 for Evidence-Based Writing, 710 in SAT Math and an average score of 32 in the ACT.

Academic Requirements for International Students: Applicants must submit either ACT or SAT score along with the application. These scores are valid for a period of 5 years. The average scores accepted for the recent 2018 admissions are as follows:

Note: In order to secure admission at the university it is recommended for students to score above or around 1490 in SAT and 35 in the ACT.
Supporting Documents: High school transcripts, LORs, official test scores, essays, copy of passport, etc. Also, the Early Decision Agreement Form is required from those students who are applying for Early Decision.
Note: Students applying for courses like Visual and Performing Arts, must upload a portfolio on Slideroom for the same.
Colby College Admissions, on the whole, have been highly selective for 2018 admissions. Total enrollment for 2018 admissions was recorded around 11,193. Maximum admissions take place during Regular Decision.
