The Johnson Cornell Tech MBA is a one-year full-time programme run jointly with the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. Cornell Tech Application Process

Cornell Tech uses three separate admissions portals depending on the program, all hosted on tech.cornell.edu rather than a central platform like the Common Application. Indian applicants complete one portal per program applied to and pay a separate fee each time.

1. Create an account on the correct portal for your program: MEng, Jacobs Technion-Cornell Dual MS, MBA or LLM.
2. Complete the online application form with personal, academic and work history.
3. Upload a two-page resume, personal statement and unofficial transcripts.
4. Record and upload the three-minute video essay following the on-portal prompt.
5. Request two letters of recommendation for MEng and Dual MS, or one professional letter for the MBA.
6. Submit IELTS Academic or TOEFL scores unless you qualify for the India-eligible waiver.
7. Order a course-by-course credential evaluation from WES or another NACES-approved evaluator.
8. Pay the application fee of USD 95 (INR 9,102) for MEng or Dual MS, or USD 200 (INR 19,162) for the MBA.
9. Submit before the round deadline in Eastern Standard Time, not IST.

WES stands for World Education Services, and NACES is the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, whose member agencies convert Indian marksheets into US GPA equivalents. Cornell Tech treats the evaluation as compulsory for international transcripts.

The I-20 is the US immigration form that lets you apply for the F-1 student visa. Cornell Tech issues it only after you deposit and clear financial proof.
