Alma College Admission Deadlines

Alma College, USA does not have a Strict Admission Deadline as it accepts students on a rolling basis. It means that students can apply throughout the year and the College will consider the application for next Semester. Although the Students are advised to apply early for Fall and Winter sessions. One must apply well before the session one intends to start with as the Visa Application requires time to be processed otherwise the Admission will be considered for the next semester.

Alma College International Admissions

Alma College, USA has a total of 1,450 Students enrolled which has 16.2 % of International Students from 15 different countries. International Students wanting to seek admissions at Alma College must have completed equivalent Education as that of US High School Diploma. The process for International Applicants and Domestic Students is quite similar except the fact that they need to submit some additional requirements. The average GPA which is considered while admitting Students is 3.5. Alma College also offers Conditional Admission to Students. It is offered to students who have good academic records but fail to prove their efficiency in English Language Test Scores. Once the Students clear the minimum required Scores, his admission becomes the regular one.

Visa Process for International Students

International Applicants need to obtain a F1 Visa or J1 Visa to study in the USA. The steps involved in obtaining a VISA are:

  • The accepted students will be mailed the I- 20 form along with the Acceptance letter.
  • The applicant then needs to contact the US Embassy in their Home Country and proceed with the Application.
  • They need to pay I-901 SEVIS Fee. The applicants are encouraged to submit the Confirmation fee( 300 USD) therein only.
  • The Documents required in VISA Application are:
    • Valid Passport
    • Proof of Health Insurance/Verification Form
    • Original I- 20
    • Receipt of the payment of SEVIS Fee.
