Henderson State University conducts a separate admission process for international undergraduate and graduate applicants. The admission process and the prerequisites are discussed in the subsequent sections.

Academic Requirements: Applicants must complete a high school degree from a recognized institution and hold an overall GPA of 2.5 or scores equivalent to US high school GPA. Furthermore, applicants need to provide ACT/SAT scores. Please note Henderson has not set any minimum score requirement for standardized tests.

All the above-mentioned requirements are common for applicants transferring from a US-based institution and, additionally need to submit SEVIS Transfer Form.

Academic Requirements: Applicants need to submit scores of GRE/GMAT/MAT/Praxis or any other standardized test to complete the application. Additionally, the GPA requirement should also be satisfied.

Academic Requirements: Students applying as a Freshman applicant must have attained a minimum composite score of 21 on ACT or equivalent SAT score in order to be considered for admission.
Applicants with an ACT score between 16 and 19 will be considered for conditional admissions and thus will be required to take ‘Reddie Intervention for Success in Education (R.I.S.E.) program’.
Applicants over 21 years of age and who did not appear for the ACT/SAT test are required to take the ACT Residual Test, which is offered by the testing center of Henderson University.

*Applicants will be exempted from submitting GMAT/GRE score if they have already completed a graduate program or have cleared all the sections of the CPA exam.
Supporting Documents: The common supporting documents required for most of the graduate courses include goal statement, 2 letters of recommendation, and resume.

Henderson State University Admissions are contingent upon submission of completed application form supplemented with official documents. After completion of the admission process, students are notified about the admission decision through an official email within a duration of 2 weeks and subsequently are issued form I-20 (if applicable).
