University of Georgia (UGA) admissions witnessed a moderately selective admission rate for 2018 enrollment. More than 75% of students admitted, were in the top 50% of their high school class. The admit rate was recorded at 54% for 2018 admissions at UGA. UGA accepts applications from international students for various undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.

University of Georgia International Admissions

Application Submission Requirements

International students must ensure that they submit the following documents before submitting the application:

Post-Application Submission Requirements

  • The applicants should check their mail for an intimation on the I-20 forms while applying for a J-1/F-1 visa.
  • The applicants must submit the SEVIS fee within two weeks after I-20 is released.
  • Applicants must submit an official bank statement.
  • Health insurance must be submitted along with other documents.
  • Certificate of Financial Responsibility Form, duly signed by the parents and applicants must be submitted.
  • Official test scores must be submitted before the deadline.

University of Georgia Graduate Admissions

The University of Georgia offers admissions in over 148 masters and 114 doctoral programs to prospective applicants. Students can apply via the respective school’s application portal.
