The University of Mary Hardin Baylor is a Christ-centered learning community and the oldest college located in Belton which is the heart of Central Texas. The campus of the university is spread across 340 acres and is also one of the safest in the nation. Many of the graduate programs have been designed to suit full time employed students in Central Texas as the classes are held either online or in the evening on campus. The teaching methodology by expert faculty members has been supported by state-of-the-art facilities. Along with several hybrid programs, there are 2 completely online programs i.e. the MyWay program and the Master of Science in Sports Administration.
The campus of the university is spread across an area of 340 acres. It is known to be one of the safest campuses in the nation. It provides multiple on-campus housing options to students where nearly 94% of the students reside. The campus has a central location 60 miles from Austin towards its North.
Apart from the academic facilities, the campus provides large spaces for various athletic sports like the Andersen Field House, Dee Dillon Softball Field, Football Practice fields, soccer fields, tennis center, and others. Brindley auditorium, Lord Conference Center and McLane Great Hall provide spaces for meeting and hosting events. Office buildings on campus are named Clements center, Head Hall, Moon building and Sanderford Administrative complex. Other facilities for student recreation include Mabee-Farris recreation gymnasium, outdoor recreation courts, Chapels, etc.

Freshman students are not allowed to stay outside campus if they are not with their parents, over 21 years, they are a part-time student. Housing options are divided into female halls, male halls and apartments.

The graduate tuition fee is 970 USD per credit hour. The graduate programs at the university are 36 credit hour programs. There are high possibilities for undergraduate international students to receive a scholarship of 3,750 USD per semester up to 8 semesters or a total of 30,000 USD. Work-study is awarded to students as a part of their financial aid. The students who accept work are paid every alternate Friday by the Bursar’s Office. To be authorized to work the following requirements need to be met by the students:
Students get paid at a rate of 7.25 USD per hour and can work for a maximum of 193 hours per semester. This means they can earn up to 1,400 USD per semester during the fall and spring. On average a student is expected to work for 13 hours a week to get the full benefit by the end of the semester. It must be noted that it is completely the responsibility of students to keep a track of the hours worked and target to earn the entire amount of award.
