Pace University Eligibility Requirements

Pace evaluates Indian applicants on academic percentage or GPA, English proficiency, and, for select programs, a subject background. Requirements differ by school and level, so cross-check the school-specific floor before choosing your program.

Pace University Academic Eligibility Floor

  • MBA at Lubin: Bachelor’s with 3.0 GPA, two years of work experience recommended.

Pace University English Waivers for Indian Students

Pace exempts applicants who are citizens of English-speaking countries like Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, and Jamaica. India is not on that list, so Indian applicants must submit an approved English test. If your test scores fall below the direct-entry threshold, Pace may route you to the Pace Global Pathways program for a conditional pathway.

Insider note: Duolingo scores are accepted at all Pace schools, which helps Indian applicants who cannot easily book an IELTS or TOEFL slot before the deadline.

Pace University MBA Admissions

The Lubin School of Business MBA runs full-time and part-time formats, with a total program cost around USD 63,375 (INR 60.95 Lakhs) at USD 1,625 per credit across 39 credits. Rolling admission means earlier applications get first review.

Lubin MBA Deadlines and Rounds

Lubin runs rolling review with these final international deadlines: 1 October 2026 for Spring 2027 (January start), and 1 June 2027 for Fall 2027 (September start). Applications submitted six to eight weeks before the deadline usually get faster turnaround.

Lubin MBA GMAT and GRE Policy

GMAT or GRE is waived automatically if you have a bachelor’s with 3.0 GPA plus from an accredited institution. Lubin also waives it for applicants who already hold a business-related master’s or doctoral degree. Others may request a case-by-case waiver.

Lubin MBA Work Experience and Interviews

The full-time MBA has no mandatory work experience, though two years is recommended. Part-time and Executive MBA cohorts skew toward mid-career applicants with 4 plus years of work. Interviews are by invitation for shortlisted applicants and run online for Indian candidates.

Planning note: Lubin’s Spring 2027 intake closes 1 October 2026, so Indian applicants targeting January start should have IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 115 in hand by early September 2026.

Note: MBA specialisation fees and cohort start options may vary. Confirm on the official Pace Lubin MBA page before applying.

Pace PhD Application Steps

Applicants submit an online application, statement of purpose, resume, two letters of recommendation, and official transcripts. The PhD in Computer Science requires a GRE score no older than five years. Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Psychology PhDs need three recommendation letters.

Pace PhD Funding and Assistantships

Every admitted PhD applicant is auto-considered for graduate assistantships, endowed scholarships, and federal aid. Assistantship recipients receive tuition reimbursement plus a stipend, though positions are competitive and limited. Amounts vary by assistantship type and academic year.

Insider note: Seidenberg PhD in Computer Science runs rolling admission with international deadlines of 1 June for Fall and 1 October for Spring, but assistantship consideration weighs heavily toward earlier applications.

Pace University Application Process and Decisions

Pace University Acceptance Rate

Pace University does not publish a single institutional acceptance rate on its public admissions pages. Publicly reported class profile data places undergraduate admissions around 83 percent and graduate admissions around 77 percent based on Common Data Set style reporting.

Undergraduate Acceptance Rate Trends

Pace’s UG admissions are broadly access-oriented, meaning most applicants who meet the stated academic and English floors are admitted. Class XII around 65 percent, IELTS 6.5, and a coherent personal statement typically clear the bar for direct entry.

Graduate Acceptance Rate by School

Seidenberg and Lubin master’s cohorts run higher acceptance rates (around 75 to 80 percent for qualified applicants) while Dyson MA programs and Health Professions doctoral tracks skew tighter. Check current student reviews on the Pace student reviews page for cohort-specific perspective from Indian students.

Insider note: Access-oriented does not mean guaranteed. Weak Statement of Purpose or missing transcripts still trigger rejections, especially for competitive Seidenberg MS Data Science and MS Cybersecurity cohorts.

USA Student Visa for Pace University

Indian students admitted to Pace apply for the F-1 Student Visa. After acceptance and payment of the enrollment deposit, Pace’s International Students and Scholars office issues the Form I-20, which is the entry ticket to the visa interview.

You must pay the SEVIS I-901 fee of USD 350 (around INR 33,660), complete the DS-160, and pay the visa application fee of USD 185 (around INR 17,791) before booking an interview at the US Embassy in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, or Hyderabad. Bring the I-20, DS-160 confirmation, passport, financial documents, admit letter, and academic transcripts to the interview.

2026 update: US Embassy India visa slots for Fall intakes are typically filled by March. Indian students admitted to Pace should book their F-1 interview within seven days of receiving the I-20.

  • Apply Early Action: UG applicants who submit by 15 November 2026 get non-binding decisions and priority merit scholarship review.

Scholarship

  • Yes, there are many scholarships that you can apply for; they are also mentioned on their website. I received the merit scholarship of $6000 per academic year ($3000 per semester). In my final semester, I had only one remaining course (3 credits), so the scholarship amount for that term was adjusted to $1,000.
  • Many of my batchmates also received the Merit Scholarship. Some students received a scholarship of $4,500 per academic year based on their academic profile. I am not aware of the number of students who receive the scholarship, but most students become automatically eligible when they apply to any program. Only those who meet the required academic criteria, such as a strong GPA/CGPA in their bachelor’s degree, are awarded the scholarship.
