- The community culture is really large and engaging. Different student clubs and communities help us grow and engage us in inter as well as intra cultural activities. This university bridges the gap between international horizons for students from different countries.
- One of the best thing about this university is its flexibility for us choosing not only one but two specialization of our domain. So we will be graduating with two major specialization which expands our wide prospects and career stretch.
- One of my personal favorite part of this university is its study reserves, study places and the resources they provide in terms for us to ace the exams and transition through semester smoothly.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the documentation works for example scheduling meeting with grad advisor is usually delayed and we need to step ahead of time to get our schedules and timeline fit .
- Being a GRA, i feel like there has been constant funding constraints for RA/TA and we need to be highly competitive to fit in the criteria which is slowly declining in terms of fundings.
- You need to be a quick early bird during the class registration day. It can be stressful and you might not get the desired class under desired professor as they get filled up really quickly
Campus Life
- UTA has one main campus, which is located in Arlington.
- UTA has many facilities such as a 6-floor Central Library with study rooms and research resources, MAC (Maverick Activities Centre) for sports and fitness, dining facilities, student centres, and a Health Centre providing medical services based on appointments.
- Indian Maverick society celebrates all the indian festivals and cultural activities. Major campus events include MavFest, Diwali and Holi celebration, Homecoming, and Cultural Nights.
Accommodation
- Via seniors’ communication and online housing website. Whatsapp housing groups
- $375-$400[150$ deposit returns] monthly of a 2b2b.The main challenge was finding good roommates and securing an official on-campus lease, as on-campus housing works on a rolling basis and fills up quickly. Availability depends on how early you apply, so delays can limit options.[ I applied as soon as I got my acceptance letter].
- I would strongly recommend choosing on-campus housing, especially for new students. It includes most amenities like utilities, internet, shuttle access, electricity, water, fridge, Wi-Fi, and maintenance, which makes the transition easier and avoids hidden costs

- Most of the fests and event happens on FAll, and barely any event happens in the Spring season. There are also a lot of international students here at my university. Also, a lot of Indians can't help it. Free food events are held occasionally.
Accommodation
- I have On campus Accomodation, which is around $400 per month. Groceries can go upto $50-75 per month according to your needs. Friend referral is most effective for getting good housing.

The campus life, infrastructure events, and extracurriculars are diverse. Additionally, students can use parts of the facility well for studying. The WiFi is slow, though, because there are many people using it at once.

I live with my family since I have members living in multiple countries, so I do not need to pay for any accommodation.
