CBIT Management Quota Fees for 2026-27 are INR 2,23,000 per year. The rate covers B.E. and B.Tech seats under Category B. It is the same tuition convenor quota students pay.
CBIT collected the same INR 2,23,000 in 2025-26. A High Court order in W.P. No. 20256 of 2026 set it. G.O. Ms. No. 06 had fixed the fee at INR 1,83,000.
Management quota at CBIT is called Category B. It covers 30 percent of the sanctioned intake. Half is filled on merit. The other half is the NRI quota. NRI seats carry a separate fee of USD 5,000 a year.
Latest Update: B-Category enrollment for 2026-27 closed on August 3, 2026. Admitted students reported to the Academic and Examination Cell. They carried the original fee receipt. cbit.ac.in enrollment circular.

How CBIT Splits Its 30 Percent Management Quota?
CBIT divides the management quota into two equal halves. The split decides which fee a candidate pays.
- 15 percent of seats go to candidates from across India. No reservation applies here. Merit follows JEE Main rank, then TGEAPCET rank, then Class 12 marks.
- 15 percent of seats go to NRI and NRI sponsored candidates. Class 12 marks decide merit. These seats carry the USD 5,000 annual fee.
Example: CSE has a sanctioned intake of 300 seats at CBIT. That gives roughly 45 merit seats and 45 NRI seats. Those 45 merit seats cost INR 2,23,000 a year each.
All Category B seats are filled by the institute management. The process follows guidelines issued by the Telangana Council of Higher Education. Selection runs through three lists, followed by spot admission rounds. CBIT admission procedure.

No. CBIT has issued a formal caution notice on this. The management does not entertain or solicit donations for Category B seats.
The rule covers NRI and NRI sponsored seats too. The notice also warns about agents and middlemen offering seats.
CBIT says candidates dealing with such people carry their own losses. Admission is granted only on merit. AICTE, TGCHE and state orders set the rules. CBIT caution notice on admissions
Figures of INR 10 Lakh to INR 20 Lakh circulate widely online. No official CBIT or Telangana government document supports them.

|---|---|---|
| 2025-2028 | INR 1,83,000 | INR 2,23,000 |

| 2016-2019 | INR 1,13,500 | INR 1,40,000 |

CBIT Fees Compared With Other Telangana Private Colleges
