Techno India University Kolkata is accepting enquiries for admission in 2027. BTech uses TNJEE, WBJEE or JEE Main where accepted for the programme and seat. TINEE covers other fields including science, humanities, law and management. Course-wise application deadlines and TNJEE/TINEE dates are awaited.

The application form still carries a 2026 intake title. Applicants need the correct 2027 intake confirmed before paying. WBJEE counselling requires a separate application to the entrance board.

TNJEE, TINEE and Other Accepted Exams

TNJEE is the university test for programmes including BTech, BPharm and BArch. TINEE is its test for courses in science, humanities, law, paramedical studies and management. They are computer-based tests taken at an authorised centre. Candidates cannot take them from home. Each has 30 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes, with one mark for a correct answer and no negative marking.

Accepted WBJEE or JEE Main scores can replace TNJEE for eligible courses. NATA applies to architecture and GATE to relevant PG programmes. TINEE courses may accept CUET, CAT, MAT, GMAT or CLAT according to the programme rules.

How to Apply and Complete Selection

Applicants select their qualifying examination and programme in the TIU registration form. Submitted details cannot be edited, so the name, marks and course choice must be correct.

The university confirms the test centre and reporting time for TNJEE/TINEE applicants. The Salt Lake Admission Cell checks eligibility, entrance merit and documents before admission. Selected applicants then pay through the admission payment system.
