Amity University Lucknow requires 55% in Class 12 for BBA and BCom (Hons). MBA applicants need 50% in graduation. BBA International selection includes an essay and interview. MBA applicants complete the entrance and interview process. The available course information also covers engineering, computer applications and research study. A common confirmed 2027 application deadline is not available in the material reviewed here.

Amity Lucknow Engineering Admission

BTech eligibility and selection

The Lucknow engineering school lists a 60% Class 12 aggregate requirement for the named BTech courses, with Physics and Mathematics and an accepted third subject. The third-subject choices include Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology and other subjects specified in the course entry. A student should use that complete subject rule rather than assume that every Science combination qualifies.

The programme information asks applicants to submit a national or state engineering entrance result, or follow the AMCAT assessment. Selection instructions are provided for the chosen course. The available programme listing currently marks several engineering admissions as closed, so the published criteria should be treated as a course reference until the new intake opens.

Engineering course choices

Lucknow lists Computer Science and Engineering alongside Civil, Aerospace, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and other computing specialisations. The regular CSE course is distinct from its International and 3 Continent options. The application must identify the intended branch and course format.

This distinction also affects the fee. Regular CSE and BBA happen to have the same first-year semester quotation in the current information, but their entry qualifications and academic courses are different. A similar payment amount does not mean that the application requirements can be exchanged between the two programmes.

Amity Lucknow Computer Applications Admission

BCA after Class 12

The BCA course page lists Class 12 as the entry qualification and provides a Mathematics bridge-course option for applicants from a non-Mathematics background. The degree lasts three years. The page does not state the same 55% requirement used for the business courses, so that percentage should not be added to BCA without a course-specific notice.

The bridge provision is particularly relevant to students who want to study computing after a different school stream. Such applicants should disclose their actual school subjects and follow the university's bridge-course requirement. It is not appropriate to enter Mathematics as a studied subject when it was not part of the qualification.

MCA and postgraduate computing

The two-year MCA accepts the listed options through graduation with Mathematics, graduation with Mathematics at Class 12, BSc IT or BCA. The current postgraduate IT listing also allows applicants without Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation to apply through a bridge course under university norms.

Applicants should establish which option their degree satisfies and retain the complete transcript. The bridge-course provision is specific to the published MCA conditions and should not be assumed to apply to every technical postgraduate programme.

MTech CSE is a separate two-year qualification. Its programme entry names BTech, MCA and the listed MSc backgrounds in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics. Students comparing MCA and MTech should consider the qualification accepted for entry and the intended course, rather than select solely by the shorter or less expensive option.

BBA and BCom Admission

Business programmes after Class 12

Business programmes after Class 12
Programme Duration Minimum academic requirement
BBA 3 years Class 12 with 55%
BBA Business Intelligence and Data Analytics 3 years Class 12 with 55%
BBA 3 Continent 3 years Class 12 with 55%
BBA International 3 years Class 12 with 55%; essay and interview requirements
BCom (Hons) 3 years Class 12 with 55%

The undergraduate business courses share the 55% school minimum, but students choose the exact programme when applying. Regular BBA, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, International and 3 Continent are separate courses. Their different names also correspond to different fee arrangements, particularly for the international options.

BCom (Hons) is another three-year choice in the business school. Students applying to it need the same minimum Class 12 percentage shown above. The final admission offer identifies the programme accepted; an application to one business course does not automatically become an offer for the others.

MBA Admission

Graduation, entrance score and interview

The business school also offers MBA Digital Marketing, MBA 3 Continent and MBA International. The admission account gives the test or interview instructions for the selected course. Students awaiting graduation results must submit them by the deadline in their offer.

Graduation eligibility is checked before the MBA selection process is complete. The 50% requirement applies to the qualifying degree, while the entrance test and interview provide additional selection information. Students using a national or state test need the result accepted for their application. Those directed to the Amity test follow the university’s instructions.

MBA Digital Marketing, International and 3 Continent are two-year postgraduate choices alongside the regular MBA. The selected specialisation appears in the application and offer. A student awaiting final results may be considered subject to completing the qualification and submitting the required marksheet within the permitted period.

MCom and PhD Admission

MCom eligibility

MCom accepts a defined group of earlier degrees: BCom, BA Economics and BBA. This differs from an MBA application, which is based on the management programme’s graduation and entrance requirements. An MCom applicant’s degree record must therefore establish both the 50% marks and one of the accepted qualifications.

For PhD Commerce, the university gives a 55% minimum in an accepted master’s or professional qualification. These include Commerce, Finance and Control, Financial Management, Risk and Insurance Management, Management and Economics, as well as the named CA, cost-accountancy and company-secretary qualifications. The course page shows a three-year duration and currently says admission is not open.

How to Apply to Amity Lucknow

Form submission and selection communication

  1. Open the Lucknow business-school programme list and select the course.
  2. Register and fill in personal details, qualifications and marks.
  3. Upload the documents and entrance score requested in the form.
  4. Complete the test, essay or interview communicated through the admission account.
  5. After selection, pay the admission amount by the date in the offer.

The admission account brings together the application, selection instructions and offer. A test or interview message may arrive after the form has been submitted, so registration and selection should be treated as separate stages. For BBA International, the essay and interview are part of the course’s assessment rather than a substitute for the Class 12 minimum.

At the application stage, the student’s course choice, marks and uploaded records should agree. A postgraduate applicant needs graduation information in addition to school results. If an entrance score is used, the scorecard should identify the same applicant and examination as the details entered in the form.

Documents Required

  • Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates.
  • Graduation marksheets for MBA and MCom.
  • Management entrance scorecard, when required.
  • Photograph and identity proof.
  • Category or scholarship documents, if claimed.

An offer based on a pending result still requires the final marksheet. The deadline in the offer determines when that evidence must arrive. Original-document checks allow the university to confirm that the application details match the qualification actually obtained.

Fees at Admission

The first-year non-sponsored semester fee is ₹1.92 lakh for BBA, ₹1.07 lakh for BCom (Hons), ₹2.73 lakh for MBA and ₹57,000 for MCom. Hostel and other separate charges are extra. The admission offer gives the first payment and its deadline.

Merit Scholarships at Admission

The 2026 Lucknow UG scheme offers 100%, 50% and 25% scholarships at Class 12 marks of 93%, 88% and 75% respectively, subject to the policy. Its aggregate uses English and three academic subjects. Students may therefore have a scholarship percentage that differs from a simple average of every subject on the marksheet.

The 2026 deadline was 5 September, and the next intake’s terms are awaited. Awards cover the first year, with continuation governed by renewal rules. Admission eligibility and scholarship eligibility are assessed separately: meeting the 55% course minimum does not itself establish a merit scholarship.

Admission Offers and Course Availability

Selecting the campus and programme

Amity has several campuses and more than one course with similar titles. The application should specify Lucknow and the exact programme, including any International, 3 Continent or specialisation wording. School and degree requirements from Kolkata, Noida or another campus should not be used to decide Lucknow eligibility.

The university's 2026 campus brochure also lists architecture, interior design, fine arts, psychology, social work and other disciplines. Each follows its own entry requirements. The business and computing criteria in this article do not establish eligibility for those separate professional or subject-based programmes.

Pending results and confirmation

An applicant whose final result is awaited must follow the deadline and conditions in the admission offer. The completed qualification remains necessary even after a selection communication is received. Students should submit the outstanding result through the required channel and retain confirmation that the university has received it.

Paying a fee does not correct an ineligible subject combination or an inaccurate academic declaration. The course, category and qualifications should therefore be checked before accepting the offer. The admission account provides the next steps for verification, payment and reporting.
