Graphic Era Deemed University has announced its January 2027 PhD intake, with applications closing on 30 November 2026. General UG and PG rules still apply to 2026-27. BTech, BBA, BCA and MBA deadlines for students starting in 2027 are awaited.

General-course selection uses qualifying marks, with entrance scores or extra selection rounds for some programmes. The 2026-27 application fee is ₹1,500.

Graphic Era Admission Dates

BTech classes began on 3 August 2026, BCA on 5 August, and BBA and MBA on 7 August. These dates suggest an early-August 2027 start, tentatively. They do not establish application deadlines.

BTech, BBA, BCA and Other UG Admission

CSE requires Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Computer Science in Class 12. A valid national or state engineering entrance score, such as JEE Main, can also be considered. PCM marks, JEE Main percentile and CUET scores affect scholarship eligibility separately.

Other engineering branches can have different eligibility requirements. Regular three-year BCA and four-year honours variants also have separate course choices.

MBA and Other Postgraduate Admission

Regular MBA requires 60% in graduation and considers CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT scores, followed by the relevant GD or interview. MBA IMPACT has separate score conditions. MCA and MTech require an accepted prior degree; MTech CSE also considers GATE or an equivalent entrance score.

Online degrees have separate applications and fees from the Dehradun campus programmes.

Graphic Era January 2027 PhD Admission

The January 2027 PhD notice accepts full-time and part-time applicants. A relevant master's degree normally needs at least 55%; a student entering directly after a four-year bachelor's degree needs 75%, with the stated category relaxations. Final-semester applicants may apply. The university's online written test is on 19 December 2026. Applicants with valid GATE or NET qualification are exempt from that written test, but still attend an interview. The notice sets the application deadline at 30 November 2026 and a ₹500 application fee for the offline form. The interview date will be sent later.

How to Apply to Graphic Era

UG and PG applicants enter academic details, upload documents and pay the application fee through the GEU portal. Applications are also accepted at the campus admission office. The university issues a provisional or final allotment letter after the applicable course payment.

Applicants need Class 10 and 12 marksheets, identity proof and a photograph. Entrance scores, degree records and transfer or migration certificates are required where applicable.
