How to Check University of Burdwan Result 2026

The university does not run a roll-number search box for UG results. Students open the PDF and find their own roll number.

1. Open the official website, buruniv.ac.in.
2. In the menu, go to Notices, then Results.
3. Pick Under-Graduate, Post-Graduates or All Courses.
4. Open the PDF for the right course, system and semester.
5. Scroll to the college code of the college.
6. Press Ctrl+F and type the full roll number.
7. Note the SGPA, CGPA and result code, and save the PDF.

Example: A Burdwan Raj College student in B.A. Honours under CBCS opens the B.A. Honours Semester VI PDF. The student scrolls to college code 104 and searches the roll number.

The results notice page shows only the latest few files. Older 2026 results stay live at their own PDF links.

What the Burdwan University Result PDF Shows

Each row shows one student. The columns change slightly between CCFUP and CBCS.

• Roll number of the student, grouped by college code
• SGPA for the semester, for Major courses and for all courses
• CGPA across all semesters, shown in the final semester
• Credit retained, which lists the papers the student must clear again
• Letter grade and final result in the last semester

The result column uses short codes. The table explains each one.

Note: In the CCFUP Semester VI lists, NC in the CGPA column comes with PNC as the final result. This means the full programme is not yet cleared.

Burdwan University UG Odd Semester Result Dates

The Controller of Examinations has released a calendar for the CCFUP odd semester exams. It gives a tentative result date for each semester.

The university may change these dates in an emergency. The full schedule is in the exam process calendar.

Burdwan University Result Problems and Fixes

Most result problems come from opening the wrong PDF. The fixes below cover the common cases.

Roll Number Not Found

CCFUP and CBCS students have different PDFs. So do 3 Year Degree, 4 Year Honours and exit-option students. Students should first match the system, programme type and stream.

Result Shows RW or INC

RW means the university has held the result back. INC means some marks are missing, often internal or practical marks. The student should report it to the college office. The college takes it up with the university.

Grade Card Not Received

The university sends grade cards to the colleges. Students collect them from their affiliated college. The exam calendar plans hard copies about two weeks after the result.

How to Apply for Review and Scrutiny After the Result

The university calls this Post Publication Review (PPR) and Post Publication Scrutiny (PPS). Review means the answer script is checked again. Scrutiny means the marks are re-checked for totalling errors.

1. The student applies through their college, not the university.
2. The college fills the form online and pays through the SBI i-Collect link.
3. The college sends the payment proof and student list by Google Form.
4. The student collects the review grade card from the college later.

UG fees are set per paper. The table shows the current fees.

Deadline: The CBCS Semester VI review window closed on October 14, 2026. Forms are not accepted after the last date.

Review results come out as separate Provisional Review Results PDFs. For example, B.Ed. students in the B.Ed. programme had a review window for Semester IV 2026 under a notice dated September 28, 2026.
