Bennett University admission is based on Class 12 or graduation marks, with an entrance test, interview or portfolio assessment for some courses. BTech CSE requires 55% in the specified Class 12 subjects, while BTech Artificial Intelligence requires 60%. BBA needs 60%, BCA needs 55%, and MBA applicants need at least 50% in graduation.
The requirements below follow the university's available admission rules for 2026–27. Dates for the next intake have not been confirmed. Students applying for 2027 should also note that the university has closed fresh scholarship applications for 2026–27 after exhausting that year's allocation. The next scholarship cycle will have a separate announcement.
Bennett University Admission Process
Students apply online for their chosen programme and submit their academic details. Bennett checks the qualification and calculates merit using the subjects specified for that course. Engineering and several other undergraduate courses use Class 12 marks. MBA, law and design have additional selection requirements.
The university sends an admission offer to the registered email address. It contains the enrolment payment and the date by which the student must accept the offer. Applicants awaiting a result can complete the permitted stages first, but must upload the final marks or entrance score within the time allowed. The admission process requires result documents to be updated within seven days of their announcement.

Bennett University BTech Admission
CSE, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering
BTech CSE requires Physics and Mathematics in Class 12. Bennett calculates the minimum 55% using these two subjects and the highest-scoring eligible third subject. The same basic requirement applies to Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Physics.
The third subject cannot be a vocational or activity-based subject such as Music, Dance, Painting, Home Science or Arts. This makes the subject combination important: the overall percentage printed on a marksheet may differ from the three-subject percentage used by Bennett. Selection for these programmes follows Class 12 merit under the university's stated criteria.
The BTech–MTech dual degree in Computer Science and Engineering also accepts applicants after Class 12. Its school-subject requirement follows the CSE condition. Students apply to the dual degree as a separate programme, with the longer course duration and its own fee structure.
Biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence
Biotechnology has a different subject requirement. Applicants need Physics together with Biology, Biotechnology, Botany or Zoology, and an eligible third subject. The minimum is 55% in the required combination. The BTech–MTech Biotechnology dual degree uses the same school-level qualification.
For BTech Artificial Intelligence, the minimum rises to 60%, with Physics and Mathematics compulsory. Its merit calculation uses those two subjects and the highest eligible third subject. Students comparing CSE and Artificial Intelligence therefore need to check both the degree title and the percentage requirement before selecting a programme.
International Board Qualifications
The university accepts the International Baccalaureate qualification with at least 24 credits, including three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects. Applicants must also have the subjects required for their chosen degree. For example, the CSE subject requirement still includes Physics and Mathematics.
NRI and international applications have separate qualification and English-language conditions. Their application should be made under the relevant category, especially where the school qualification is an A level or another overseas equivalent. The domestic percentages above should not be used as a complete statement of international admission requirements.
BBA, BCom and Computer Application Admission
BBA and Commerce Courses
BBA requires 60% in the best three Class 12 subjects, including English. The other two subjects are the highest-scoring eligible subjects. The BBA–MBA dual degree has the same basic school-level condition and admits students after Class 12.
BCom Finance and Accounting, and BCom International Accounting and Finance integrated with ACCA, require 55%. Their three-subject calculation includes English, Mathematics or Commerce, and the highest-scoring third subject. A Commerce student can therefore qualify through the Commerce subject option without relying on the engineering requirement for Physics and Mathematics.
BCA and Artificial Intelligence Courses
The regular BCA and BCA–MCA dual degree require 55% in the best three subjects, with English compulsory. Selection is based on this Class 12 score. The application should identify whether the student wants the undergraduate degree or the combined undergraduate and postgraduate programme.
BCA Artificial Intelligence and BSc Artificial Intelligence require 60% in the best three subjects, including English. Vocational subjects such as Music, Dance, Painting and Home Science are excluded from the other two subjects. The school provides bridge study in subjects such as Physics or Mathematics where required for these AI programmes.
Law, Design, Media and Liberal Arts Admission
Integrated Law and LLM
BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) require 60% in the best three Class 12 subjects, including English. Selection combines those marks with a personal interview. Both admit students after school, so applicants do not need a previous bachelor's degree for these integrated law programmes.
LLM applicants need an LLB from a recognised institution with at least 50%. The university accepts the relevant national law entrance option, including CLAT or CUET PG, or its own Bennett University Law Entrance Test. A statement of purpose and personal interview are also compulsory. The statement of purpose explains the applicant's interest in further law study and forms part of the application assessment.
Design Selection and Portfolio
BDes (Hons) requires 50% in Class 12. Selection uses an accepted design test such as NID, NIFT or UCEED, or Bennett's BUDAT, followed by an interview and portfolio evaluation. The portfolio gives the school examples of the applicant's creative work, so the selection process involves more than academic marks.
MDes Communication Design is open to graduates in any discipline with 50% and English as the medium of instruction. Its accepted test options include CEED, NID DAT, NIFT and BUDAT. The university also requires a portfolio review and interview for this postgraduate programme.
Liberal Arts and Media Courses
BA (Hons) requires 60% in the best three subjects, including English. The university lists majors in Psychology, Political Science and International Relations, Economics, English, Business Studies, Philosophy and Sociology. Selection follows Class 12 merit under the course criteria.
For postgraduate media study, MA Mass Communication accepts graduates in any discipline with 50% and English as the medium of instruction. Graduation marks and an interview are used for selection. The postgraduate diploma in TV and Digital Journalism instead requires 55% in graduation with English as a compulsory subject; prior media study is not required, and selection is through a panel interview.
Bennett University MBA Admission
MBA applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50%, with English as the medium of instruction. Bennett considers CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, BUMAT or CUET scores under the relevant programme's criteria. The accepted examination session must match the admission cycle.
Selection uses a weighted assessment of the entrance score, graduation marks and personal interview. An applicant's performance in one test is therefore only one part of the decision. Students should submit the score for the MBA programme they have selected and attend the interview arranged by the university.
The offer letter explains the enrolment payment and subsequent admission formalities. For the 2026–27 regular MBA fee structure, tuition is ₹6 lakh a year, with registration, security and other charges additional. Specialised and industry-integrated MBA options have their own fee schedules.
MCA, MTech and Other Postgraduate Admission
MCA accepts graduates in any discipline with 50%, with English as the medium of instruction. The university's eligibility page states selection on aggregate graduation percentage. Students should use that course-specific rule rather than assume that the MBA interview process applies to MCA too.
MTech CSE accepts the specified engineering, technology or architecture degree, or an accepted equivalent such as MCA, MIT or MSc, with 50%. MTech Materials Science and Engineering and MTech ECE in VLSI Design and Technology list relevant engineering branches and MSc subjects, including Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology and Materials Science. These programmes select on aggregate graduation marks.
MA and MSc Economics accept graduates in any discipline with 50% and English as the medium of instruction. Their selection includes both graduation marks and a personal interview. Applicants from a different undergraduate subject can therefore apply where they meet the stated qualification.

Documents and Accommodation
Applicants should keep their Class 10 and Class 12 records, identity proof and photograph ready. Postgraduate applicants also need graduation marksheets and the degree or provisional qualification record. Entrance-based applicants need the relevant scorecard; design applicants need their portfolio. Scholarship applicants must submit the records required for the particular award.
Hostel availability needs separate attention. Bennett's 2026 notice states that university hostel accommodation cannot be offered to students who took admission after 25 July 2026. This is a restriction for that admission cycle, not a confirmed rule for 2027. Students should obtain the accommodation decision alongside their admission arrangements rather than assume that an academic offer includes a hostel room.
