Regular, Supplementary and Instant Exam Results Explained

Each result line on the portal carries a label. The label tells students which exam the result belongs to.

• Regular: first attempt at that semester's exams.
• Supple: short for supplementary, a repeat attempt for failed papers.
• Special Supple: an extra chance, usually for older batches.
• Instant Examinations: a quick repeat exam for final-year backlogs.
• Revaluation: revised marks after answer scripts are checked again.

The university held UG Special Supplementary exams in June 2026. These covered I to VI Semesters. Those results came out on July 4, 2026. The UG V Semester Instant Examination result followed on June 30, 2026.

How SGPA Is Calculated From the Result?

Choice Based Credit System courses show credits for each subject. Grades carry a fixed grade point. SGPA is the credit-weighted average of grade points for one semester.

The formula follows the UGC CBCS guidelines. Multiply each subject's credits by its grade point. Add these products, then divide by total credits.

Here the SGPA is 87 divided by 11, which gives 7.91. CGPA uses the same method across all semesters completed so far.

Why a Rayalaseema University Result May Not Open?

Most result problems come from a few common mistakes. Each one has a simple fix.

Wrong Result Line Selected

The list carries many near-identical lines. A supplementary candidate who opens the regular line will see no record. Students should match the course, semester, exam type and exam month exactly.

Wrong LLB Scheme Page

New scheme LLB students use pages with the duration in brackets. Older batches use pages without brackets. A number entered on the wrong page shows nothing.

Result Withheld

Students report results held back over unpaid exam fees or missing records. The college exam section then takes it up with the university. The result then shows once the issue is cleared.

How to Apply for Revaluation After the Result?

Students unhappy with their marks can ask for revaluation. A university notice after each result gives the fee and last date. Applications usually go through the college exam section or the university website.

Revised marks appear later as a separate "Revaluation" result. Take the UG IV Semester April 2026 exam. Its regular result came out on July 31, 2026. The revaluation result followed on September 21, 2026.

Important: Students waiting on revaluation should still register for the next supplementary exam.
