Mr. Jitesh Malviya plays a key role in strengthening industry-academia collaborations and enhancing student employability through strategic corporate partnerships. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with leading organizations across the IT, Manufacturing, Banking, Pharmaceutical, and Consulting sectors, facilitating placements, internships, industry projects, and skill development initiatives. He has successfully organized large-scale placement drives, CEO conclaves, industry interaction programs, and corporate networking events. An MBA graduate and Ph.D. scholar in Management, Mr. Malviya is recognized for his expertise in corporate relations, campus placements, talent development, employer branding, and strategic partnerships. You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What keeps you connected with the Education Sector and how has your experience been so far with the institute?

The education sector offers a unique opportunity to shape the future by empowering young minds. What keeps me connected is the satisfaction of seeing students transform into confident professionals and successful leaders. My journey in higher education has been enriching, allowing me to work closely with industry, academia, and students. At Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV), I have experienced a strong culture of innovation, academic excellence, and industry engagement, which makes my role highly rewarding.

Being the TPO of SVVV, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

My primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between academia and industry. This includes facilitating campus placements, developing industry partnerships, organizing internships, arranging skill development programs, conducting career guidance sessions, and preparing students for recruitment processes. Our focus is to ensure that every student is industry-ready and equipped with the skills required for a successful career.

Do you have any programs to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

Yes, SVVV places significant emphasis on experiential learning. We conduct aptitude training, technical skill enhancement programs, soft skills development workshops, mock interviews, group discussions, industry projects, internships, hackathons, industrial visits, and expert sessions by industry leaders. We also collaborate with leading organizations such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and others to provide students with exposure to current industry practices.

When you came to this institute, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

My vision has been to position SVVV as a preferred talent destination for leading recruiters and to create a robust ecosystem that enhances student employability. To achieve this, we have strengthened industry partnerships, expanded placement opportunities, introduced structured training programs, encouraged certifications, and focused on continuous interaction between students and industry professionals.

What are the interventions and approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to train/teach the students?

Beyond academics, we focus on holistic development. We conduct personality development programs, leadership workshops, communication skills training, aptitude enhancement sessions, coding boot camps, industry certifications, entrepreneurship development programs, alumni mentoring, and industry interaction sessions. Our objective is to prepare students not only for jobs but also for leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities.
