Woxsen University has opened its 2027 admission cycle, with selection based on the accepted entrance test and personal interview. The detailed general eligibility page still labels its requirements for July/August 2026: BTech requires 55% overall in Class 12 and 50% each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while MBA requires 60% in graduation. Applicants should confirm these requirements in their 2027 course offer.

The university has released 2027 fee schedules and Scholar's Round dates. The application deadline for that round is 14 November 2026 for MBA and 1 December 2026 for the listed undergraduate courses, MTech and MDes. These are scholarship-round deadlines rather than a common final closing date for every admission.

Woxsen Admission Dates for the 2027 Intake

The Scholar's Round considers completed entrance and interview assessments for an additional merit award. Selected applicants must pay the commitment fee by the applicable acceptance date to retain that additional benefit.

Woxsen Admission Dates for the 2027 Intake
Programme group Scholar's Round application deadline Commitment deadline for the additional award
MBA 14 November 2026 14 December 2026
Listed undergraduate courses 1 December 2026 4 January 2027
MTech AI and ML; MDes Product Design Innovation 1 December 2026 4 January 2027

Woxsen Undergraduate Eligibility

The academic requirement and accepted test vary by course. Engineering uses a Science subject combination, while BBA, BA and design accept the streams specified by the university. The following table summarises the existing general eligibility information.

Woxsen Undergraduate Eligibility
Programme Academic requirement Accepted tests in the general eligibility information
BTech Class 12: 55% overall and 50% each in PCM W-JEET, JEE, VITEEE, AP/TS EAMCET, MHT CET or SAT
BBA / BBA Honours Class 12: 55% WAT or SAT
BDes Honours Class 12: 55% WDT, NID, NIFT or UCEED
BA Honours Class 12: 55% WAT or SAT
BArch Required PCM qualification or eligible 10+3 diploma with Mathematics; 55% NATA
BA LLB / BBA LLB Class 12: 55% WLAT or an accepted external test

The general page is still marked for 2026 even though the admissions website now advertises the next cycle. A course-specific 2027 notice or offer should therefore be used for the final test list and qualifying conditions. The university's minimum marks are separate from the selection score used to make an offer.

Woxsen BTech Admission

Class 12 subjects and marks

BTech requires Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with at least 50% in each subject and 55% overall. These are separate conditions. For example, a higher overall aggregate does not compensate for a result below 50% in Mathematics under the stated rule. The detailed Class 12 marksheet establishes both the aggregate and individual subject results.

The accepted qualifications include recognised school boards. Students applying while their final school result is pending must complete the result conditions in the offer before enrolment. The university assesses the academic qualification along with the entrance performance and interview.

Engineering entrance tests

W-JEET is the university's engineering test option. The general eligibility list also names JEE, VITEEE, AP/TS EAMCET, MHT CET and SAT. Applicants using an external result submit the relevant scorecard; those applying through W-JEET complete the university's test process.

The application should record the test used and the intended engineering programme. Test and interview communication is sent through the registered contact details. Once selected, the student receives the offer and the commitment payment instructions for that programme.

BBA, BA and Design Admission

BBA and BA

The general BBA and BA requirements accept Class 12 with 55% and an accepted WAT or SAT result. BBA is available as a three-year degree and a four-year honours option in the 2027 fee information. The duration selected affects both the academic programme and the number of annual residential payments.

Students applying to these courses submit their school records and the test result used for selection. The personal interview forms part of the assessment. The final offer identifies the programme, any pending academic documents and the payment required to accept the seat.

BDes admission

BDes Honours requires 55% in Class 12 under the general requirements. The accepted assessments include the Woxsen Design Test, NID, NIFT and UCEED. The applicant provides the accepted score or completes the university's design test before the remaining selection stages.

Design selection uses the assessment communicated for the course and the interview. The exact programme should be selected in the application because its test options differ from those for BBA or engineering. The four-year BDes fee schedule is separate from the three- and four-year BBA schedules.

Architecture and Law Admission

BArch requires the stated academic qualification in PCM or an eligible 10+3 diploma with Mathematics, along with NATA. The general university page gives a 55% requirement. Applicants should submit the qualification and aptitude-test records used for architecture admission and follow the current course notice for the intake.

BA LLB and BBA LLB require 55% in Class 12 under the general information. Woxsen lists WLAT and external options including CLAT, SAT and accepted state law tests. Its older list also names LSAT; the availability and acceptance of any legacy test entry need confirmation for 2027. The final offer should identify the integrated law degree selected.

BCA, BSc and Sports Science Admission

The general eligibility page accepts any Class 12 stream for BCA, with Mathematics required for electives involving that subject; WAT is listed. BSc Honours requires 55%, with a subject linked to the specialisation: Mathematics for the listed mathematical and computing options, Physics for Physics, Chemistry for Chemistry and Biology for Biotechnology.

BSc Sports Science requires 55% and accepts WAT or the listed Telangana/Andhra Pradesh entrance scores. Demonstrated sports interest or participation receives preference. Students awaiting Class 12 results may apply but must pass the qualification to complete admission.

Woxsen MBA Admission

Graduation and entrance requirements

MBA applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree with at least 60%. Accepted tests include WAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT and GRE. The general MBA accepts graduates from different undergraduate streams. The university considers the entrance performance and interview as part of selection.

The MBA for experienced professionals requires three years of work experience in addition to the academic conditions. Applicants to that programme submit experience records along with their degree documents. The programme choice should be clear in the form because experience is a specific entry requirement for this option.

Woxsen Aptitude Test

The university's WAT description gives an online test of 100 questions over 120 minutes. The four areas are Language Proficiency, Quantitative Skills, Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge. The described format assigns 50 marks to each area, making 200 marks overall.

Language questions cover areas such as vocabulary and grammar, while quantitative questions assess mathematical ability. Logical Reasoning covers analytical problems and General Knowledge includes general facts and current affairs. Applicants should use the test instructions issued with their assessment for the final format and technical requirements.

Interview and selection

The MBA selection information describes a composite score based on entrance performance and the personal interview. The interview considers communication and subject understanding. Candidates with two accepted entrance results can have the higher score considered under the stated scholarship assessment arrangement.

MTech, MDes and PhD Admission

MTech AI and ML requires 60% in an eligible relevant qualification and accepts W-JEET or GATE. MDes Product Design Innovation requires 60% in an accepted bachelor's degree and a design or innovation portfolio; applicants from other disciplines may submit relevant project or professional work. Its test list includes WDT, CEED, NID-DAT and NIFT.

For full-time PhD, the general criteria allow a relevant master's qualification with 55% or an eligible four-year undergraduate degree with 75%. Part-time PhD uses the relevant master's qualification. The research programme's current notice determines the remaining assessment and document requirements.

Woxsen Application and Selection Process

The admission process begins with the online application. Candidates enter their personal details, qualifications and accepted entrance result, or choose the relevant Woxsen test. The university then communicates the assessment and interview stages.

  1. Register with an active email address and contact number.
  2. Choose the programme and complete the academic details.
  3. Upload the required documents and pay the application charge shown in the form.
  4. Submit an accepted entrance result or take the Woxsen test.
  5. Complete the interview and any other assessment communicated for the course.
  6. Accept the offer and pay the commitment amount within the applicable period.
  7. Submit final results and complete enrolment requirements.

The general process gives selected applicants seven days to accept a provisional offer. The offer states the commitment amount and any pending conditions. Scholarship-round acceptance dates also matter for the additional award. The university's written communication determines the payment deadline applicable to the individual offer.

Documents Required

School records, identity proof, photographs and entrance results form the basic application file. Postgraduate applicants provide their degree records, while the experienced-professional MBA also requires evidence of work experience. The records must support the qualification and test named in the application.

Documents Required
Application Main academic and supporting records
Undergraduate Class 10 and Class 12 records, accepted entrance result, identity proof and photographs
MBA / MTech Graduation records and accepted entrance scorecard
Experienced-professional MBA Degree records, test result and work-experience evidence
MDes Degree records and the required portfolio or relevant work
PhD Qualifying master's or eligible four-year degree records and documents required by the research admission notice

A provisional offer may be issued before the final school or degree result is available. The candidate must still meet the academic minimum and provide the final documents within the permitted period. The offer and payment acknowledgement should be retained with the academic records for enrolment.

Woxsen Admission Fees and Residence

The 2027 BTech CSE and CSE AI and ML schedule gives a ₹17.20 lakh programme fee over four years. Standard residence adds ₹13.40 lakh, taking the combined amount to ₹30.60 lakh. The two-year MBA programme fee is ₹15.66 lakh, with standard residence taking the combined amount to ₹22.36 lakh.

The non-refundable commitment payment is included in the programme total: ₹50,000 for the listed BTech schedule and ₹1 lakh for MBA. Standard residence is ₹3.35 lakh annually; premium residence is ₹3,98,500. Scholarships reduce the eligible academic component, while the actual award and its conditions are stated in the admission offer.
