AISSEE 2027 (All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination) is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 at Sainik Schools across India. Once you submit the application form at exams.nta.nic.in, you can check whether your form reached NTA successfully by logging back into your account and looking at your application status. The status tells you exactly where your application stands — fully submitted, partly filled, fee not received, or flagged for a photo problem.

AISSEE 2027 is for the 2027–28 academic session. NTA has not released the official AISSEE 2027 notification yet. The information below is based on the AISSEE 2026 cycle. Check exams.nta.nic.in for the confirmed registration window and login process once the notification is out.

Status Check Update:
  • AISSEE 2027 Application Form: Expected to open in October to November 2026 (Tentative). NTA has not released the official notification yet.
  • Application Status Link: Available at exams.nta.nic.in after you log in with your Application Number and password.
  • Confirmation Page: A generated Confirmation Page on your dashboard is the only proof your application is fully submitted. A fee payment receipt alone is not enough.
  • Your application is complete only when your status shows Submitted or Complete and the Confirmation Page is available to download.
  • Check your status within 48 hours of paying the fee. Do not wait until the last day of the window to confirm.
  • NTA sends no automatic email or SMS to confirm a successful submission. You must log in and check yourself.
  • Keep your Application Number safe. You need it every time you log in to check your status or download the Confirmation Page.
  • If your status shows a problem — fee pending, photo rejected, or partially filled — act before the registration deadline or the correction window closes.

How to Check AISSEE 2027 Application Status Online

You check your AISSEE 2027 application status by logging in to your NTA account on exams.nta.nic.in. There is no separate status link — the status is inside your application dashboard. Follow these steps.

Step 1: Go to exams.nta.nic.in

Open exams.nta.nic.in in a browser. Look for the AISSEE 2027 link on the homepage. If the registration window is open or recently closed, the link will be visible. Click it to go to the AISSEE 2027 portal page.

Step 2: Click on the Candidate Login Link

On the AISSEE 2027 page, click Candidate Login or Application Form Login. This takes you to the login screen where you enter your credentials.

Step 3: Enter Your Application Number and Password

Enter the Application Number NTA sent to your registered mobile number and email when you first registered. Enter the password you received or set during registration. If you forgot either, see the fix problems section below. Click Login.

Step 4: Go to Your Application Dashboard

After logging in, you land on your application dashboard. The dashboard shows your Application Number, name, and the current status of your application. You will also see a link to download the Confirmation Page if your application is complete.

Step 5: Read the Status and Take Action If Needed

Read the status message carefully. If it shows Submitted or Application Complete, your form reached NTA and the Confirmation Page is ready. If it shows anything else — Fee Pending, Partially Filled, or Photo Rejected — you need to act before the deadline. See the next section for what each status means.

Check your status from the device you used to register — some browsers do not save the session. Use the Application Number from the SMS or email NTA sent at registration. If you cannot find it, check your registered email inbox for a message from NTA with the subject line containing "AISSEE 2027 Registration".

What Each AISSEE 2027 Application Status Message Means

NTA uses specific status labels on the application dashboard. Each label tells you exactly what happened with your application. The table below explains what each one means and what you need to do.

Status MessageWhat It MeansWhat You Should Do
Submitted / Application CompleteAll steps are done — form filled, photo and signature uploaded, fee paid, and Confirmation Page generated. NTA has received your application.Download and print the Confirmation Page. No further action needed unless a correction window opens.
Partially FilledYou started the form but did not complete all sections. The fee may or may not have been paid. The Confirmation Page was not generated.Log in immediately, complete the remaining sections, and pay the fee before the deadline. If the deadline has passed, your application cannot be completed.
Fee Pending / Payment FailedYou reached the payment screen but NTA did not receive the payment. The form is not fully submitted.Log in and retry the payment through the NTA gateway. If the amount was deducted from your bank, wait 24 to 48 hours and check again. Contact the NTA helpdesk with your transaction ID if the status does not update.
Photo or Signature Rejected / UnsuitableNTA’s team reviewed your uploaded photo or signature after submission and marked it as unsuitable. This is separate from a portal rejection at upload time.Wait for the correction window. Upload a new photo or signature that meets NTA’s size and format rules. Missing the correction window may lead to cancellation of your application.
Under Scrutiny / Under ReviewNTA is verifying one or more details in your application — usually the category, date of birth, or uploaded documents. This is a normal step for some applications. No action needed from your side right now. Check the portal regularly for an update or a notice asking you to upload a document.
Form Locked / Registration ClosedThe registration window has closed and your form was not fully submitted at the time of closure. You cannot submit or complete the application now. The next opportunity is AISSEE 2028. Watch exams.nta.nic.in for any NTA announcement of a re-opening, though this is rare.

The exact wording of status labels on the NTA portal may differ slightly from the table above. NTA updates portal language from cycle to cycle. Read the label on your dashboard carefully — if it says anything other than Submitted or Complete, treat it as requiring action until you confirm otherwise.

How to Download the AISSEE 2027 Confirmation Page

The Confirmation Page is a document NTA generates on your dashboard after your application is fully submitted and the fee payment is confirmed. It is your only official proof that NTA received your application. The admit card is issued separately, weeks later — the Confirmation Page is not the admit card.

What the Confirmation Page Contains

  • Your Application Number and registration details
  • Candidate’s full name, date of birth, gender, category, and class applied for
  • Exam city preferences and Sainik School preferences you listed
  • Your uploaded photo and signature as they appear in NTA’s records
  • Payment confirmation with the transaction reference
  • A barcode or QR code that NTA uses to verify your application at the exam centre

How to Download It

Log in at exams.nta.nic.in with your Application Number and password. On your dashboard, look for a button or link labelled Download Confirmation Page or Print Application Form. Click it — a PDF opens in your browser or downloads to your device. Save the PDF immediately.

Why You Must Print It

  • NTA does not send the Confirmation Page by post or email. The only way to get it is from your dashboard.
  • You must carry a printed copy to the exam centre. The invigilator checks it against your admit card when you enter the hall.
  • If your photo or signature is flagged later, the Confirmation Page shows what was on file at submission, which helps when you contact NTA.
  • Keep a digital copy as a backup in case the printed copy is damaged or lost.

What If the Download Button Is Not Visible?

If you cannot see the Confirmation Page link on your dashboard, your application may not be fully submitted. Check the status message first. If the status shows Submitted or Complete but the link is still missing, log out, clear your browser cache, and log in again. If the problem continues, contact the NTA helpdesk with your Application Number and payment transaction ID.

What to Do If Your AISSEE 2027 Application Status Shows a Problem

Some applications run into a problem after submission or mid-way through the process. Each issue has a specific fix. Act as quickly as possible — some fixes are only possible before the registration deadline or during the correction window.

Fee Deducted from Bank But Status Still Shows Fee Pending

This happens when the payment gateway receives the money but the NTA portal does not update in time. Wait 24 to 48 hours and check your status again by logging in. Most pending statuses resolve on their own within this window once the bank settlement completes.

  • Do not pay again immediately. A second payment for the same application is not refunded even if the first one failed.
  • If the status still shows Fee Pending after 48 hours, note down your bank transaction reference number (UTR or transaction ID) from your bank statement or UPI app.
  • Contact the NTA helpdesk at the number or email listed on exams.nta.nic.in. Give them your Application Number and the transaction reference. They can check on their end and update the status manually if the payment reached NTA.
  • Do not wait until the registration deadline to resolve this. Act within 48 hours of paying.

Photo or Signature Flagged as Unsuitable

NTA reviews all uploaded photos and signatures after the registration window closes. If yours is flagged, NTA announces a correction window on exams.nta.nic.in. You can upload a replacement file during this window.

  • Check exams.nta.nic.in regularly after the registration deadline for a correction window announcement.
  • Prepare a new photo that meets NTA’s rules: JPG or JPEG format, 10 KB to 200 KB, taken in the last three months, plain background, full face visible.
  • Prepare a new signature: JPG or JPEG, 4 KB to 30 KB, candidate’s own signature on white paper in black or blue ink.
  • Log in during the correction window and upload the replacement. The portal will confirm the new file is accepted.
  • If the correction window closes without you uploading a valid file, NTA may cancel your application and not issue an admit card.

Forgot Application Number or Password

Your Application Number was sent to your registered mobile number and email at the time of registration. Check your SMS inbox and email inbox (including spam) for a message from NTA with your Application Number.

  • If you cannot find the Application Number in messages, check the email address you used to register for a message from NTA with "AISSEE 2027" in the subject line.
  • To reset your password, look for a Forgot Password link on the AISSEE 2027 login page at exams.nta.nic.in. Enter your registered mobile number or email — NTA sends a reset link or OTP.
  • If neither works, call the NTA helpdesk. Give them the mobile number and email you registered with. They can retrieve your Application Number after verifying your identity.

Application Shows Incomplete After the Registration Deadline

If the registration window has closed and your status still shows Partially Filled or Fee Pending, your application was not completed in time. NTA does not accept late completions after the deadline. The application cannot be submitted now. Contact the NTA helpdesk if your fee was deducted — they may be able to process a refund in cases where payment was received but the window closed before the Confirmation Page generated, depending on NTA’s policy for that cycle.

After Confirming Your AISSEE 2027 Application Status — What to Expect Next

Once your status shows Submitted and your Confirmation Page is downloaded, your part in the application process is complete for now. Here is what happens next in the AISSEE 2027 cycle, based on the AISSEE 2026 schedule. NTA will confirm the exact dates on exams.nta.nic.in.

What You Should Keep Checking on exams.nta.nic.in

  • Check the portal at least once a week after submitting your application. NTA posts notices about the correction window, admit card, result, and answer key on the portal without always sending individual alerts.
  • Keep the mobile number and email you registered with active until May 2027. NTA sends exam updates, admit card alerts, and school notices only to the contact details on your application.
  • If NTA extends the registration deadline or opens a re-registration window, the announcement will be on exams.nta.nic.in. There is no guarantee of an extension — apply on time.
  • Once the exam is over, the status check link may no longer be active. Save your Confirmation Page and admit card digitally before they become inaccessible.

All dates above are tentative and based on the AISSEE 2026 cycle. NTA has not released the official AISSEE 2027 schedule. Verify every date on exams.nta.nic.in once the official notification is out.

AISSEE 2027 Application Status FAQs

Ques. Where do I check my AISSEE 2027 application status?

Ans. Log in to your account at exams.nta.nic.in using your Application Number and password. Your application status is shown on your dashboard once you log in. There is no separate status link — you must log in to see it. NTA does not send an automatic confirmation SMS or email, so you need to check the portal yourself after submitting and after paying the fee.

Ques. What does "Partially Filled" mean for my AISSEE 2027 application?

Ans. "Partially Filled" means you started the application form but did not complete all the required steps. The Confirmation Page was not generated, so NTA has not fully received your application. Log in immediately, complete the remaining sections, upload your photo and signature if not done, and pay the fee. Do all this before the registration deadline. After the deadline, a partially filled application cannot be completed.

Ques. My fee was deducted from my account but the status still shows Fee Pending — what should I do?

Ans. Wait 24 to 48 hours and check your status again. Payment gateway settlements take time, and many pending statuses update on their own. If the status still shows Fee Pending after 48 hours, note your bank transaction reference number (UTR or transaction ID) and contact the NTA helpdesk listed on exams.nta.nic.in. Give them your Application Number and the transaction ID. Do not pay again without checking — a duplicate payment is not refunded.

Ques. I lost my Application Number — how do I find it?

Ans. Check the SMS inbox of the mobile number you registered with — NTA sent your Application Number there when you first registered. Also check the email address you used for a message from NTA. If you still cannot find it, look for a Forgot Application Number or Forgot Password link on the AISSEE 2027 login page at exams.nta.nic.in. If that does not work, call the NTA helpdesk and give them your registered mobile number and email — they can verify your identity and retrieve the number.

Ques. My photo was flagged as unsuitable by NTA — what should I do?

Ans. NTA reviews photos after the registration window closes. If your photo is flagged, NTA opens a correction window on exams.nta.nic.in where you can upload a new one. Watch the portal for this announcement. Prepare a new photo in JPG or JPEG format, 10 KB to 200 KB, taken recently, with a plain background and full face visible. Log in during the correction window and replace the file. Missing the correction window may lead to your application being cancelled without an admit card being issued.

Ques. Is the Confirmation Page the same as the admit card?

Ans. No. The Confirmation Page proves your application was received by NTA. The admit card is a separate document NTA releases weeks later, closer to the exam date. You need both at the exam centre — the admit card lets you enter the hall, and the Confirmation Page is checked against it. The Confirmation Page is available on your dashboard immediately after a successful application. The admit card appears on your dashboard only after NTA releases it, typically in December 2026 or January 2027 based on previous cycles.

Ques. How do I know my AISSEE 2027 form is completely submitted?

Ans. Your form is completely submitted when your dashboard shows a status of Submitted or Application Complete and a Confirmation Page is available to download. A payment receipt alone is not enough — the Confirmation Page must be generated. If you see Partially Filled or Fee Pending next to your name, your application is not complete. Download and print the Confirmation Page as soon as you see it on your dashboard.

Ques. Can I change my details after my status shows Submitted?

Ans. You can change some details only during the correction window NTA opens after the registration deadline. NTA allows changes to the candidate’s name, category, exam city preferences, school preferences, and photo or signature during this window. You cannot change the class you applied for (Class 6 or Class 9) or the Application Number. After the correction window closes, no change is possible. Watch exams.nta.nic.in for the correction window announcement.

Ques. I see "Under Scrutiny" on my dashboard — is there a problem with my application?

Ans. "Under Scrutiny" or "Under Review" means NTA is checking one or more details in your application — this is usually a routine step for applications where the category, date of birth, or uploaded document needs verification. It does not always mean something is wrong. Check your dashboard and registered email regularly for a message from NTA asking you to upload a supporting document. If no such message comes and the status stays on Under Scrutiny for more than a week, contact the NTA helpdesk with your Application Number.

Ques. When will the admit card be released after I confirm my application status?

Ans. Based on the AISSEE 2026 cycle, admit cards are expected in December 2026 to January 2027, a few weeks before the exam. NTA has not confirmed the 2027 dates yet. Once the admit card window opens, you download it from exams.nta.nic.in using your Application Number and password — the same login you used to submit your form. NTA may also send an SMS alert to your registered mobile number when admit cards go live.

Ques. I cannot log in to exams.nta.nic.in to check my status — what should I do?

Ans. First, check that you are entering the correct Application Number and password. Passwords are case sensitive. If you forgot the password, use the Forgot Password link on the login page — NTA sends a reset link or OTP to your registered mobile or email. If the portal itself is not loading, try a different browser or clear the cache. Avoid checking from a school or public network that may block the NTA portal. If none of these work, call the NTA helpdesk listed on exams.nta.nic.in with your Application Number and registered contact details.

Ques. My status shows Submitted but I did not download the Confirmation Page — can I still get it?

Ans. Yes. Log in to your account on exams.nta.nic.in with your Application Number and password. On your dashboard, look for a Download Confirmation Page or Print Application Form link — it stays accessible for as long as the login portal is active for that cycle. Click it and save the PDF immediately. If the link has disappeared after the portal is updated for a later phase (like admit card release), contact the NTA helpdesk — they can re-enable access or provide an alternative download link.

Ques. Does NTA send a confirmation SMS or email when the application is successfully submitted?

Ans. NTA sends your Application Number and password to your registered mobile number and email at the time of registration. After that, there is no automatic message confirming a successful final submission or fee payment in most NTA cycles. You must log in and confirm your status yourself. If you see Submitted or Application Complete on your dashboard and the Confirmation Page is downloadable, your application reached NTA. Do not assume the form is submitted just because the fee was paid.

Ques. Can an agent check or manage my AISSEE 2027 application status for me?

Ans. No. NTA does not authorise any agent, consultant, or coaching centre to access your application or check your status on your behalf. Sharing your Application Number and password with anyone else puts your application at risk of being changed or misused. Check your status yourself at exams.nta.nic.in. If anyone charges a fee to check your AISSEE status or offers to guarantee a Sainik School seat, do not pay them and report it to the NTA helpdesk.
