Eligibility for TJEE 2026 Counselling

Students must meet all of the following eligibility conditions to participate in TJEE 2026 Counselling.

• The student must have appeared in and qualified TJEE 2026.
• Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.
• A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM/PCB is required (40% for reserved category students, as per TBJEE norms).
• The student must be an Indian national; domicile and bonafide residence requirements of Tripura apply for state quota seats.

How to Register for TJEE 2026 Counselling on tbjee.tripura.gov.in

Registration for TJEE 2026 Counselling is entirely online. Follow the steps below carefully from June 17, 2026 onwards.

1. Visit the official website — Open tbjee.tripura.gov.in and look for the TJEE 2026 Counselling link on the homepage.
2. Click on Counselling Registration — Select the "New Registration" or "Counselling Registration" option to begin.
3. Enter TJEE 2026 details — Provide your TJEE 2026 Roll Number, rank card number, and date of birth to verify your identity.
4. Set a password — Create a secure password for your counselling account and note your login credentials safely.
5. Fill personal and academic details — Enter your name, address, contact number, email, Class 10 and Class 12 details, and category information accurately.
6. Upload documents — Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the format and size specified by TBJEE.
7. Pay the counselling registration fee — Pay online via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI as applicable.

How to Fill Choices in TJEE 2026 Counselling

Choice filling determines which seat you are allotted. Fill at least 15 to 20 choices to maximise your chances across all rounds. You can edit choices any number of times before the locking deadline.

1. Log in to your counselling account — Go to tbjee.tripura.gov.in and log in with your Roll Number and password.
2. Open the Choice Filling section — Click the "Choice Filling" link in your counselling dashboard.
3. Browse colleges and courses — View all participating institutes and available B.Tech, B.Pharm, and other programmes.
4. Add choices to your list — Select the college-course combinations you want and add them to your preference list.
5. Arrange choices by priority — Place your most preferred combination at the top and least preferred at the bottom.
6. Save choices regularly — Save the list periodically to prevent data loss.
7. Lock choices before the deadline — Click "Lock Choices" once satisfied. Locked choices cannot be changed under any circumstances.

The system allocates the best available seat from your locked list based on your rank and category after the locking deadline.
