What key factors motivated you to join the education sector?

“Ability to guide the youth in academics and watch them succeed in life is a strong motivation”

In order to keep growing, one must keep learning continuously irrespective of the stage of life. It is an incredibly satisfying experience to interact with the youth. Witnessing their success is possible only if you are directly associated with education domain. Hence, I made the choice of entering this sector.

What is your philosophy of leadership?

To motivate your team and demonstrate that the goals set by the leadership are achievable”

I have found that ‘Leading by setting an example’ is the most effective and practical style of leadership. Further, it sends out a powerful message that the institute’s management is fully committed to its objectives. It helps unite all the stakeholders involved and creates a deep sense of unity.

How will you plan the marketing and administration of your institute?

“Inputs from our partners and service providers plays a key role in deciding the policies”

At Vidya Guru, activities are oriented and strategized keeping in mind best interests for the students. Our Marketing plans and initiatives are completely based on student needs. For example, we noticed that many students from South India and the North Eastern states are not well versed in Hindi. They are just not comfortable with the Bilingual (Hindi + English) medium of instruction. So, we launched a Complete English Medium course for Banking, SSC and CDS exam aspirants. We go out of our way to ensure the welfare of our students. As soon as the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, we immediately launched the SSC + Banking Online Coaching Course for our classroom students to ensure Zero Disruption in their learning.

How does the coaching style at Vidya Guru ensure the best development of the students?

Our motto is to provide 100% Exam Oriented learning material to our students”

Our philosophy is to train the students keeping in mind the pattern and complexity of the exams they are appearing in. For example, if a student signs up for our Online IBPS Coaching Classes package, then his course will include Banking Awareness, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Current Affairs and other areas which are relevant for Banking Examinations. The topics covered in this course, are completely based on the syllabus provided by IBPS. We opt for a overall student-centric approach in our teaching process.

What do you think, your responsibilities to the institute and the students are?

“I am responsible for overseeing the teaching methodology and efficacy of content delivery”

Being the Head of Academics, I chalk out the learning framework that the Institute follows. I am responsible for putting in place all the learning resources and ensuring that our high-quality standards are met. Providing the Best learning support is my primary responsibility towards students. As a mentor and guide, I motivate them to work consistently towards achieving their goals.

What would you like people to know about your coaching institute they may not know?

“We offer complete courses in English language and enable continuous learning”

Every individual involved in Vidya Guru’s management is a teacher first. That’s what makes our coaching courses more effective and beneficial for students. We are, the only Institute to offer complete English medium coaching courses. These have been designed especially for our students from South India and the North-Eastern states as they may not be comfortable in the Hindi language.

What are some of the biggest challenges for higher education and coaching industry?

“Mushrooming of educational institutes and large number of unreliable academic resources”

Higher education must be employment-oriented for it to stay relevant. The biggest challenge is to be in-line with the forever changing employment trends. Today, the biggest hurdle for the coaching industry is the information overload from a plethora of unreliable sources. Students are bombarded by inferior quality guidance from such sources. It does damage to both students and established coaching institutes alike. So, the challenge is to position your institute as a quality brand, which is truly trustworthy.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

The youth must be mindful of time management and resource optimization”

The secret to success lies in the implementation of the plans you have formulated. If you are a student who aspires to crack a Competitive exam, taking some time off social media may not be a bad idea. You will be amazed at how much time you can save by doing so. Moreover, when it comes to your exam preparation, trust only the experts.
