Rajasthan scholarships, also known as SJE Scholarship, are offered by The Government of Rajasthan with its subsidiary departments. These scholarships are offered to the students of  Rajasthan under various schemes.

The main motive of this scholarship is to help meritorious, deserving and disadvantaged students to pursue higher education without any financial issue.

Some of the scholarships also include student rent allowance, book allowance, communication allowance, and many more. Applications can be made online only.

The application process starts in October every year and goes up to April. When college admission starts students can apply for their respective scholarships. Currently, applications are closed.

Rajasthan State Scholarship 2021: How to Apply?

The government of Rajasthan has a portal specially for scholarships. Candidates who want to avail any scholarship from the state government need to register themselves in that particular portal. Through this portal, students can check their application status, can cancel their application, or can manage their application. Follow these simple steps to register yourself - 

  • Candidate need to visit the Rajasthan scholarship portal
  • Now, click on “New Registration”
  • Enter your name, mobile no, email id in the registration form and make sure that all the given details are correct.
  • Upload documents if required and submit the form.
  • You will get an “Account Activation Link” in your email after submitting the registration form.
  • By clicking the activation link, your account will be activated. Just take a printout of the form for future references.

Once you register yourself in the scholarship portal, you can apply to the scholarships you are eligible for.

Rajasthan State Scholarship 2021: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of Rajasthan 2021 scholarship are given below:

Rajasthan Post-Matric Scholarship Eligibility 2021

  • Only class 11 and 12 students can apply for the Social Justice and Empowerment Department post-matric scholarship.
  • Must be studying in a school affiliated from a recognized board.
  • Family Income of the candidate must be 2.5 Lakh for SC/ST candidates, 1.5 Lakh for OBC Candidates and 1 Lakh for EBC Candidates.
  • The student must have a domicile of Rajasthan to apply for a post-matric scholarship in Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Sarvajan Higher Education Scholarship Scheme Eligibility

  • The annual income of a student's parents must be less than Ra. 5 lakh.
  • The student must have a domicile of Rajasthan to be eligible for this Scholarship.
  • All class regular students can apply for Rajasthan scholarship 2021. The student must be studying under the courses conducted in National level educational institutions.
  • All category/caste students are eligible.

What are documents needed while applying for the scholarships?

Ans – Document’s list is:

What is the minimum educational qualification required for applying for Rajasthan Scholarship?

Ans – Students currently studying in between classes 9 to 12 and secured at least 60% marks in their final examination can apply for the scholarships.

Is the Rajasthan Scholarship scheme open for all the students who enrolled in any Indian Universities/ Colleges/ Institutes?

Ans – No, the scholarships are available for students having Rajasthan domicile. All the SC, ST, OBC, and general students can avail the scholarships in Rajasthan state.

What should be the range of annual family income to avail the scholarships?

Ans- The annual family income should not exceed 2.5 lakhs. Also, there are few scholarships for which the income criteria is below 1 lakh. So, check the eligibility status before applying for the scholarship.

Ans – The students must study in class 11 or 12 from any recognized school and can be from any caste i.e., ST, ST, OBC, EBC, SBC, or general.
