As one of the oldest universities in Australia, the University of Adelaide has an educational experience of more than 140 years. In the year 2019, the university offered scholarships worth 1,577,612 AUD to more than 500 international students. Of this total funding, 1,024,592 AUD were provided through the internal University of Adelaide scholarships, 435,016 AUD through donors (philanthropic, alumni, etc), and the remaining 118,000 through the Australian Government programs.
As per the university officials, the number of University of Adelaide scholarships and recipients is expected to increase in 2020 by at least 10%. Therefore, incoming international students, especially from countries like India, China, and Bangladesh, are encouraged to explore all the scholarships they are eligible to cover their financial expenses.
Coursework scholarship opportunities for incoming international students are majorly common for both undergraduate and graduate programs. These scholarships are awarded as tuition fee waivers, ranging from 5% to 50% reduction in course fees.

Applicants must note that no separate application form is required for undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships. Along with these internal University of Adelaide scholarships, international students can also apply for Australian government scholarship programs such as Australia Awards scholarship, Destination Australia, etc.
