Tanvi Joshi is a Fine Arts Mentor at Collegedunia and a third-year B.F.A. (Painting) student at the College of Art, University of Delhi. She has exhibited student work at city art shows and runs a small Instagram account on Indian miniature painting traditions. She specialises in Class 11–12 Fine Arts — particularly the miniature, Pahari, and Rajput painting traditions dominating the NCERT syllabus.
About the Author
Tanvi supplements her chapter writing with annotated reproductions of the paintings under discussion. She is a serious miniature-painting practitioner in the Pahari tradition (training under a Kangra-school teacher), a regular at NGMA Delhi's contemporary-art exhibitions, and reads art-criticism essays from The Caravan and Art India.
