Applicants are also not required to go through any Labour Market Impact Assessment. Candidates with an open work permit are eligible to apply for any organization or firm in Canada as long as they are not on the Government’s list of ineligible employers.

In 2021, graduates from foreign countries with a Post Graduation work permit received LMIA exempt work permits. To be considered eligible, students should have completed their studies in a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.
