VIU has an environmentally friendly campus which is suitable for a person who loves nature like me. The classroom size is small so professors will remember you. The staff are so responsive. Tuition fee is affordable compared to other universities in Canada. Moreover, Vancouver Island is the warmest place in Canada which is good for a person from the tropical weather like me. MBA at VIU is a competitive program and lasts 16 months which saves you lost of living expenses.
It’s practical. The course is up to date, and changes with the changes in real life.
VIU is in my hometown so I can stay close to home and still do schooling. I applied for about 15 different schools and was accepted into a few but decided to stay close to home. It was $6,000 for tuition and the program with an additional roughly $1,500 for fees and supplies. I have gotten good grades my whole life, graduating high school with mostly.
I love how the curriculum is laid out and the people high up in charge of the schools are doing an amazing job.
The university had a co-op element, well-accredited, and economic living arrangements. I also had a few people from my network who did this program so I had some assurance. The program was designed for working professionals since I had work ex and have done a master's before I was more inclined towards this program. Also, their dual-degree option with their Partnered University from the UK was a great incentive to join.
Quite good, well to do and approachable. I have many years of experience and knowledge. I have industry knowledge and experience as well which is a great bonus.
