Adler University, Vancouver is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver in the province of British Columbia in Canada. The Vancouver Campus started providing counseling training back in the early 1970s and has been officially developed into a campus of Adler University only in 2005. The institute is a highly ranked organization in terms of offering superior quality Higher Education in Canada. 

This new campus offers 8 Master’s and 1 Doctorate program. Besides theoretical education and training, students get a complete range of required elective experiences beyond traditional practitioner training. To study in Canada is a dream of thousands of students and the university is making it possible by offering various scholarships and loans. The academic calendar of the institute is semester based and small class sizes provide higher individual attention. 

Adler University at present offers 20 graduate-level programs enrolling more than 1,200 students at campuses in Chicago, Vancouver and online. The application form has to be submitted offline and the application fee is 30 CAD. The University does not offer any undergraduate courses. To make education affordable, they have a variety of scholarships and loans for prospective students. 

COVID-19 Admission Updates

  • Taking in account the situation, the institute has waived application fees for all the campuses from April 26. 
  • Instead of on-campus visits, the students have an option of virtual visit now. 
  • For Graduate Admissions, the institute has exempted the need for GRE scores. 
  • Students willing to get enrolled in the upcoming semester will also be offered hardship grants on tuition deposits if needed.

Campus

Housing Facilities/Residence

  • Adler University Vancouver does not provide campus residence facilities. 
  • However, students can easily get off-campus single/shared room options within the area.
  • Off-campus housing rent is a little much costlier in Vancouver.

Courses

  • Adler University, Vancouver campus offers various programs for its international candidates including a masters in Counselling Psychology in Art & Therapy and School & Youth Concentration; Industrial and Organizational Psychology as well as in Public Policy & Administration: Social Change Leadership. 
  • It also offers a doctorate program in Counselling Psychology.
  • The Master in Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy in Vancouver is British Columbia’s only program that prepares counselors to guide individuals and communities to greater wellbeing through art as social action. 
  • Students get an option of completing major research projects in most of the graduate programs.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

  • Merit-based scholarships are available for international students. Scholarships are disbursed toward tuition and fees over the first two terms. 
  • International students can get $1000-$5000 CAD based on their academic and other excellence. 
  • Graduates of any Adler University master’s program who are admitted to the PsyD program at the Vancouver campus will receive a $10,000 CAD.
