Scholarships/Financial Aid

There are various awards and scholarships in Canada for international students that the college offers. Students can receive one merit-based award and one scholarship from other categories at a time.

The Scholarships for International Students are as follows:

  • Guaranteed Entrance Scholarships - Merit based, Students are automatically considered for it upon applying; Given towards Tuition Fees; Amount Varies according to Percentage : 95 % + - 3000 CAD, 93 % to 94.9 % - 2000 CAD, 90 % to 92.9 % - 1000 CAD, and 85 % to 89.9 % - 500 CAD.
  • Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships – Highest Valued Scholarship; Renewable; Based on Entrance, Academics, Leadership Potential, Contribution to community etc.; Edward Undergraduate Scholarship comes under it for International Students; Amount – 24000 CAD; Apply for admissions by December 1 and for Scholarship by December 15.

International Students are considered for the following awards. Applicants must apply before February 15 for these awards.

  • University of Saskatchewan International Excellence Award – 10,000 CAD
  • IB Excellence Award – 20,000 CAD (For Students of IB Diploma Program)
  • Canadian Curriculum Schools Award – 15000 CAD (International Students who have completed School Curriculum)

For Entering Students

  • Chancellors’ Scholarships – CAD 30,000 (CAD 7,500/year over four years)
  • George and Marsha Ivany President’s First & Best Scholarships- CAD 40,000 (CAD 10,000/ year over four years)
  • U of S Entrance Scholarships – CAD 24,000 (CAD 6,000/ year over four years)
