Campus and Residential Facilities

Campus offers various facilities for its students. There are almost 40 buildings on-campus.

  • The main campus has been certified as the ‘Sustainable Campus’ and covers an area of 1.8 sq. km.
  • The campus is situated near the downtown, with great public transit connections
  • Two other pavilions are situated in the historic Old Quebec district, namely the École des arts visuels i.e. The School of Visual Arts and the École d'architecture.

Housing Facilities/ Residence

The residence living offers lounges and common areas.

  • On campus residence offers homey shared kitchens, lounges, game rooms, study rooms, reception rooms, music room and visual arts studio.
  • Room furnishing includes Twin bed and mattress (bedding not included, available at extra charge), sink, worktable, chair, armchair, bookshelf, dresser, closet, telephone with voice mail etc. Student can also rent appliances and equipment.
  • To apply for a room download the brochure Residence Application for Full-Time Students, attach a recent passport size photograph, deposit your first month rent using an accepted payment method. For confirmation, student will receive an email post applying.

Programs + Faculties and Divisions

  • There are 500 different study programs, offered in French
  • Fields of study includes 5 profiles sustainable Development, Entrepreneurial, International, Honors and Research
  • Levels of study include Bachelorette, Masters and Doctorate degrees.
  •  Its Cosmeceutical Chemistry (B.Sc Program) trains students for making cosmetic and beauty products from naturally sourced ingredients, for medical and pharmaceutical industries. This program also offers Sigma + internship and is one of the advantageous programs in Quebec.

Work while you study

Student Jobs

On-campus

Full-time students get opportunities to work on and off- campus during the fall and winter semesters

  • Working hours on-campus are not limited
  • Student must be enrolled in a full-time course
  • Also, exchange students with a valid study permit or students registered in a French language learning program can also apply.
  • To apply for SIN, the student needs to apply in person and is required gather all the original documents and submit them at the nearest Service Canada Service.

Off-campus

  • Students who are enrolled in at least six months course are eligible for off-campus opportunities
  • Students can work up to 20 hours per week
  • Student must be enrolled in a full-time course
  • Students can work full-time during scheduled breaks

Work After Graduation

  • The student can work for any eligible employer in Canada.
  • For work permit, the student must have continuously studied full-time in Canada or at least for  6 months.
  • The campus placement office called 'L'effet Spla', also offers internships and job opportunities to its students.
