Campus and Residential Facilities

It has 3 campuses namely, Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert. Also, it offers various residential facilities to its students.

Saskatoon Campus

  • The College of Nursing is located in this campus.
  • Both undergraduate and post graduate courses are being offered in this campus

Regina Campus

  • It is a modern-state-of-the-art facility, offers both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Prince Albert Campus

  • It offers its students smaller class sizes, with good facilities.
  • Its Student Wellness Centre offers health care facilities to its students. Its Health sciences building offers research on health education
  • It offers around 800-900 graduate programs from 11 faculties and about 80 Master’s and Doctoral Programs.

College Quarter

  • It consists of four bedroom apartments, three bedroom apartments and studio apartments as well.
  • It offers facilities such as free laundry, kitchenette, study areas and furnishings.
  • Meal planner offers 3 buffet meals a day.

Voyageur Place

  • It consists of four residence halls namely, Athabasca Hall, Saskatchewan Hall, Qu'Appelle Hall and Qu'Appelle Hall Addition.
  • It offers accommodations to 588 undergraduate students. It offers various facilities such as furnished suites, games room, free laundry, parking lot, hockey equipment storage.
  • Residents are required to purchase a Marquis Hall Meal Plan out of which one can choose 17meals/week or 19 meals/week

McEown Park

It consists of three halls

  1. Souris Hall
  • It offers living spaces for students under the age of 18.
  •  It consists of a kitchen, two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, which can fill a maximum of 4 people per unit.
  •  It offers facilities such as free laundry, parking lot, public lounge, a kitchen and private unfurnished bedroom.
  1. Assiniboine & Wollaston Halls
  • It offers accommodation for upper year undergraduate students and graduate single students. It consists of one-bedroom and two-bedroom sets.
  • It provides facilities such as storage closet, private bedroom, kitchen, parking lot etc.
  1. Seager Wheeler
  • It offers accommodation for single students in six seater bedroom.
  •  It provides facilities such as kitchen, lounge with pool table, free laundry, storage lockers, parking lot etc.
  • Meal Planner for all four residence halls offers 3 buffet meals a day.

Graduate House

  • It offers accommodation for students pursuing post-graduate diploma, master’s or Ph.D programs.
  • It consists of two person apartment-style suites and also new deluxe units.
  •  It offers facilities such as free laundry, In-suite kitchen, parking lot, private bathrooms, multi-media classrooms etc.
  • Meal planner offers 3 buffet meals a day.

How to apply?

  • To apply in any of the residence, the student needs to register on Residence Housing Portal. Then, the student needs to submit a residence application followed by online payment of rental fees of CAD200 application fee. Then, the student will timeslot offer email, in which the student can choose their room and building location.

Programs + Faculties and Divisions

  • It offers over 800-900 undergraduate programs and around 80 Master’s and Doctoral programs.
  • There are 13 departments in University of Saskatchewan namely, Agriculture, Business and Economics, Life Sciences and Chemistry, Environment and Earth Sciences, Health, History, Culture and Arts, Indigenous Programs, Languages and Communications , Math, Engineering, Technology, Physics, Society and Law and Teaching.
  • Its undergraduate program offers Bachelor level degrees, diplomas and certificate. Its graduate level program offers Master’s and Doctoral program.

On-Campus

On-Campus opportunities for students such as teaching or research assistants at a library or hospital, the workplace may also be situated outside the campus.

  • Work hours are not limited
  • To work on-campus the student should be registered as a full-time student.
  • Undergraduate student should be registered in 9 or more credits, while graduate student should be registered in 6 or more on-campus credits.
  • To apply for SIN, the student needs to apply in person and is required gather all the original documents and submit them at the nearest Service Canada Service.
  • Candidates living within 100kms can apply through the mail.

Off-Campus

  • The students can work off-campus for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • To work off-campus, the student should be enrolled in a degree, diploma or a certificate (min. 6 months duration). The student should be registered in 9 or more credits.

Work After Graduation

  • The student can work for any eligible employer in Canada.
