I wanted to get settle down in Canada. Thus I searched for the colleges that offer a Masters course in Pharmacy. I went through a list of best colleges and universities that provided the course. Then I came across the University of Saskatchewan. After a bit of research work, I decided to take admission in the university. I applied through an application that cost me $150.
This course offers me an interesting curriculum that is worth studying. I am allowed to have an extraordinary opportunity of creating new knowledge, advancing the field of pharmacy and becoming agents of change in improving health quality locally, nationally and internationally. My curriculum also focusses on the pure sciences like chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and Applied sciences. It is divided into sections such that there is no tedious study and we get enough time for recreational activities.
I already graduated from the College of Arts and Science with a Bachelor of Arts degree. This seemed pretty useless in the world, so I chose a business college with the intent of becoming more recognized in the workforce.
It's good, but it could use some revisions. The introductory courses are extremely basic and could/should be covered in high school instead. Otherwise, the course contents are decent enough. There is a lot to learn.
I live in Saskatoon so I decided this was the most convenient and affordable option for me. The nutrition program also had the practicum included in it, which other provinces don't have- you have to compete for it. The fact that I would not have to compete for this made the program much more appealing to me to apply for.
I feel like the course could be completed in 2 years rather than 4 years with 1-2 years before hand. I feel as if the classes in years 1-2 were useless and invaluable to me hand I could have benefited more from a more hands on approach.
After completing my BBA from a university located in India, I was on the hunt to pursue my higher studies from a recognized university and when my uncle referred this university to me, I got impressed with it. My university has a beautiful campus and the course offerings in the master's program are huge with a lot of career options on completing the course. The application process for the same was done at the official website, the application fee- $70.
It's a two-year program with a total of 60 credits. The first year of the program focuses on course work, while year two focuses on research and writing a thesis. The course work of the program includes Designing Marketing Research, Statistical Methods Advanced, Qualitative Methods, and more.
The University of Saskatchewan is one of the largest education institutions in the province and offers the most extensive programming to the national and international students. One of my friend who completed both of her degrees from this university told me that this college has a very beautiful campus and also offer on-campus housing option to the individuals. I submitted my application form through the official website application portal, the application fee for the same was $70.
The department focuses on the study and promotion of social and ecological justice education. Special interest areas include Indigenous and anti-racist education, comparative and international education, and gender and sexual orientation issues. The critical and creative approaches to various educational practices including process philosophy, critical pedagogies, place-based learning, and land-based learning are also part of the curriculum.
