I was actually planning to start my journalism studies in Canada and I did research and found out about Sheridan College, which I saw that many large businesses are related to this particular college and are also college of government. So yes, I have decided to go to Sheridan College
Course Curriculum
In Journalism, as part of the media platform, I learn about reporting news, learning computer and technological skills, writing and developing content, doing broadcasting, researching legislation, understanding how the production team functions, etc and 90% of the curriculum is actually practical. Yes, I have got workplace instruction.
Faculty
10:77 . I am so grateful that by supporting me in every step of my semester, I am helped by such great instructors. They also have a fair amount of experience and as part of internhsip, they are also the one who helps to find jobs.
Placement
Companies such as CBC, CTV and many private radio stations interview students and hire talented ones. What I see is only talented is accepted and rest is going to work in the department of junior level that I think is fine. Accommodation
I am living as off campus .I lease a basement and 3 of my friends are also living. Rent of whole basement is 900 dollars in Brampton and Individuals we are paying like 230 something per month and all including excluding groceries
Exams
My results: 10th - 78%, 12th -88%. Subjects in the 12th are: English, elective English, political science, mathematics, Punjabi. IELTS score: 6.5 In each module, bands not less than 6.0. Requirement for college: 6.0, not less than 6.0 . For Journalism Admission: English is necessary with good grades in 12th.
Events
Sheridan is a huge building with many spaces surrounded by beautiful scenery and trees. Depending on the faculty and facilities, College has many buildings have all the items that journalism students really require, such as wifi support, proper radio and news channel rooms, book store, labs, classes with good leg space and many events have occurred and various news reporters encourage students.
