Sheridan is a reputed public college in Ontario. I've heard a lot about its prestigious faculty that's why I took admitted to it.
Course Curriculum
Overall faculty, the curriculum and the academics are amazing. The majority of the faculty is very supportive and the curriculum focuses on hands-on experience.
Faculty
There's usually 1 prof over 20-25 students. The faculty is usually very calm and supportive. They are highly versed in their practices and approachable about all sorts of doubts from class to future professional advice. My personal favorite from our faculty is George Demetriou.
Placement
I haven't reached the placement portion of my study experience yet but from what I've heard the college supports us to the best for good placement.
Accommodation
The Brampton and Oakville campus have residences. They are again very well facilitated and safe. Although a bit expensive. But staying in them is the proper college life experience.
Exams
I took the IELTS test the minimum requirement was 6.5 and I scored 8 bands. Apart from that only a minimum of 75% in high school was required.
Events
We have 3 campuses in Brampton, Mississauga, and Oakville. All the campuses have specific functions and faculty. They are highly beautiful, well maintained, and very well facilitated. Facilities such as free-to-use computers, high-speed wifi, and sports and recreation facilities are available on all of them.
Fees
Average cost of my program is C$8,500 approx.
Scholarship
I didn't get any scholarship. I didn't have any idea at the time of admission.
