Ans. Shaheed Bhagat Singh and DCAC offer a BA in Economics. Whereas, Symbiosis School of Economics offers a BSc (Hons.) in Economics. SBSC is ranked 151 out of 200 top colleges in India by NIRF. DCAC is ranked 31 out of 120 in Arts by India Today. NIRF has ranked SSE in the 20th position in India. Admission: All the colleges take admission based on merit however, the major difference lies between their cut-offs, which vary every year. For the year 2019, the cut off for Shaheed Bhagat Singh and DCAC went as high as 96% for BA Economics. Institute SBSC DCAC SSE Course Fee 20,155/- 27,285/- 2.02 lakhs Placements: SBSC- Around 40% of students get placed at SBSC, with an average package of 5-7 LPA. Ans. At Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, the BA program has 4 subjects in each semester. There are a total of 6 semesters. Discipline subjects are those that students get to choose and they have to study these subjects for the whole 6 semesters. There are many combinations of subjects, such as Economics+English, Political Science+Philosophy, Maths+Economics, etc. Whatever combination you choose you will need to study that for the whole 6 semesters and you can’t change afterward. In the first semester, you will have to study one English (compulsory) and one Ability Enhancement course. You can choose these subjects while applying for admission. In the second semester, you will have to study one Hindi and Environmental Science. In third semester, you will need to study one English and one skill enhancement course. For fourth semester, you will have to study one Hindi and one SEC. For the fifth and sixth semesters, you will get the opportunity to choose one generic elective subject based on your discipline.
