The placement has always been good in DCAC. Some of the really great brands are heard to come in each year. The college makes sure to provide great exposure. The opportunities vary from course to course. For instance, for literature, you don't get too many companies coming in for placements. While on the other hand, students from economics and B.com are picked up instantly by many.
I'm not sure of whether my college provides internships or not. But they do provide us with jobs in the third year to be taken up after college. The package is decent. Depends on the field exclusively.
They have a placement cell, Placements have been very good in my year and the good amount of salary is being offered to students who fit the criteria of the company. In my time salary of around 6-7 Lakh per annum was offered to a B.Com Student, now it could be higher also.
No internship is provided by the college how ever at the end of third year companies do come to recruit and offer a handsome salary to the students who fit their criteria.
In my course, no big media companies come for placement but last time for our fresh batch, Zee TV tagged along few of them and paid really well. Many go for the internships and end up working there only. A lot of us study further for specialisation in the specific interested field.
There is an active placement cell that works on regular basis, conducts interviews etc. They offer many internships whose stipends vary from 5000/- to 15000/- depending upon if its full time or after college.
Placements in DCAC are one of the best thing any graduate can dream. It has 100% placements records. Yes exactly 100% not on papers but actually 100%. All of the best companies from their sectors comes to campus placements. Some of them are Bharti Airtel, KPMG, Protivity, EY, IBM and many more. Average Package ranges from 2.5 Lakhs to 4 Lakhs pa with some companies providing additional benefits of fully sponsored post graduation during the job.
B.com doesn't require any internship in the entire course. But an individual is free to do internship during summer or winter breaks or year break through his or her own links. As no internship is included in B.com course so no experience certificate for the same is required.
The opportunity provided are big and lucrative so people interested really benefit a big time from such placement cell out interest in a job is must that is ot just need to sit in an interview and surely a company will pick as so many are available.
Well DCAC has a really great insight towards placement cell and internships companies like pwc google deloitte are a part of the placement.
The placement cell for the final year students is pretty active but lacks course distinctions. Most of the placement offers were open for all courses and there were very few jobs that catered to specific courses. The teachers would help the students in applying to different internships and build contacts.
The college does arrange for few internship interviews but only few. I think the college needs to work on the internship program.
Yes many well reputed company came to our college for jobs and placement. For example:- Genpact, Accenture, 4i soft
No, our college don't provide internship.
Yes, placement is given by college. Approx 80% company came in my college and provide good placement in best companies.
No, internship is not given by college.
Better than average in all du colleges. One of the best in India for my course.
The placement cell is doing a good job. Many reknowned companies come offering some great jobs. The average package offered is around 4lacs - 5lacs per annum.Companies like ICICI Prudential ,IBM, Royal Bank Of Scotland and many more.
